I always loved to have skin diversity when making all my enclosures and it was such a pain having to manually edit and make batches with limited space of dinosaurs over and over just to get different skins, so I'm so glad to see the skin randomization option.

Personally I’d love some more tour varieties. Am I the only one who thinks some more tours would make the game feel more realistic. Like maybe a river cruise or (now this one isn’t necessarily a vehicle) but a guided walking tour that you can place in the lagoons or aviary that is either a glass walkway like you’d find at some aquariums that goes through the lagoon or a caged walkway that goes through the aviary like I’m JP3 I’d just like more tour ideas especially a river cruise or atleast some way of putting tours through water so you could make a wetland themed park. Which is something I’ve done and quite enjoyed it, just wish my tours could go through water so I didn’t have land through my exhibits. There is so much more they can add to the game i know it’s only been a month but it has so much potential that I feel like Frontier won’t grab at.

I’m super excited for Arizona I liked that particular map and Yosemite valley was cool looking as well it would be nice to build a park and now that dfw buildings are in as well is awesome I never played a lot of sandbox in the last game but I am excited to play it in this game just bc of all the options we have to build with

For me the Yosemite map is the most exciting. I love the fall map but I actually went to Yosemite recently during the lifetime of the first game (before the second one was announced) and I distinctly remember thinking “wish I could build a park here”

Oh the minmis are so small! I thought they are like nodosaurus or even euoplocephalus! And i think it could be nice to use the wuerhosaurus as a juvenile stego, because of its more rounded plates. I thought the base game at launch was too bare-bones and left out too many things. This update will make the game more worth spending money on. I might get it now. The dinosaurs certainly look fantastic. I hope they add some decorations like mounted skeletons and flower planters and things.

I definitely wanna build a timeline park now. First the guests will see Jurassic Park with the old houses and stuff like that, then I think it would be amazing to place the campaign buildings (or maybe the campaign one first) and last but not least at the end of the park the modern one with a lot of hybrids.

My favourite Map is Yosemite in California just the Californian look with the mountains and the redwood trees It just gives a prehistoric feeling and Pennsylvania is in a close second and Oregon in 3rd but I just love Yosemite and I hope to create like a dinosaur paradise there with Dinos roaming free in the valley I am so excited.

This is definitely a great step forward in quality to be sure, especially for sand box. I’m glad that the DLC creatures are available right as you get them. I was afraid they’d make you have to unlock them via challenge mode like the other creatures.

Hey, got a question. Maybe a stupid one. I played all the chaos theory maps and completed all the dinosaurs in them but i still only unlocked like 50 out of 80 in total so in sandbox i only have acces to 50 dinosaurs. How to unlock the rest?

How can i get back to that island or is it just gone and do i have to make different safe files for all the different modes and islands?

I checked out if the DCF (dinosaur combat frequency) worked the same way as it did in JWE1, I noticed there was one difference, the carnivores can still hunt goats, which made more sense to me that they can still hunt goats just not hunt other dinosaurs, because that was how it worked in JWE1 which made the goat feeder kinda pointless, but at least now are carnis can still terrorize the goats even if DCF is turned off.

One thing that i found it was strange is that outside the map buildable area there's still a lot of plain terrain to build,but frontier made it a "tiny" buidable area,i think is because the old gen consoles and the buildings limitations that frontier made that.

I do think the limitations are for consoles that they impsoed on all platforms. But, technically that still means that the small maps could be as big as the biggest maps in the game, because apparently consoles can handle those.

I love the update, so much quality of life stuff as well as new stuff, but the cynical part of me doesn't want to congratulate Frontier too much for kind of doing the bare minimum in giving us a usable sandbox. I know its harsh, but some the stuff they left out at release made zero sense. I'll be more favourable after some coffee or something lol. The new species look awesome so just need to know how much that's going to cost so I can figure out when I'm getting it.
