I like to think the hybrids all have health issues due to being unstable. Like the stegoceratops having an itch problem, or maybe the spinoraptor being a little “slower”

Initially I thought this comment was a typo, cause I thought you meant Spinoraptor. But then I thought to myself… did I skip a bunch of the Spinoceratops section in the video? Surely they wouldn’t make animations for a herbivore eating out of the fish exhibit… and they did!!! I really hope that the Ankylodocus gets killing and fighting animations in a later update like they did with Giganotoraptor. Hey if they can do it once they can do it twice, along with the Stegoceratops being able to use it’s spiked tail to fight and kill as well, and it would also be nice if we could also get the Ankylodocus’s JWE1 appearance as a variant in a update, as well along with bioluminescent for the Scorpius Rex.

Not gonna lie, this DLC doesn't look quite as bad as I thought. Hopefully the DLC does good in sales and doesn't get reviewed bombed because of the lack of a big free update. Park suggestion: make a new hybrid research facility, but loosely inspired by Oppenheimer (map suggestion - Arizona) Detective Evo might be gone but Evonheimer might be on the horizon.

The anyklodocus is just an apatosaurus with spikes and has zero unique animations portraying the uniqueness of the animal. They could use more colors for the lux skins but they are all pinkish

I miss when Triceratops/Stegosaurus had actual kill animations instead of just having the carnivores flop over after a normal attack. Give trike back the ability to stab a rex through the neck with its horns, and this update was a good opportunity to bring those animations back

Kind of thought that the Spinoraptor was going to reach out and claw the human hanging from its jaws. Would've really shown off the mega-sized raptor thing in a new way although what we have is good too. Glad to see we can still give it skins that resemble JP3 and JP raptors. I'll have to double-check to see if there's a good tiger variant too. Ankylodocus to me is the second-best looking sauropod after the JP3 Brachiosaurus's variant skins but it really blows that it's just any old sauropod. Hopefully we keep getting free updates so one can fix the fact that it can't fight back.

I just realized something. If you notice, with this pack and the last few DLCs, they have been adding the remaining missing species from both the movies and Camp Cretaceous: 1. Marine Species Pack: Nothosaurus 2. Cretaceous Predator Pack: Tarbosaurus 3. Secret Species Pack: Spinoceratops Two more species need to be added: the Microceratus and Smilodon. There have also been hints at a Pterosaur/Flying Species Pack. If this year is the last year of DLC for JWE2, there must be at least three more DLC packs. The Microceratus could likely be part of a Cretaceous Prey Pack, and the Smilodon could be part of a Cenozoic/Ice Age Pack. That’s just my guess, so I could be very wrong.

What I would love to see in the future (probably in the next game) is they have an additional campaign more that is similar to JWE 1 where you have multiple parks/ facilities that share money but now research. It could be a Dr. Wu focuses modes that surrounds Hybrid research, and you can unlock a lux skin for every dino in the game.

In a dream world we would've gotten Stegoceratops and Spinoraptor in a free update. And Ankylodocus 2 and Spinoceratops in a dlc with 2 new hybrids, the new 2 both hopefully being feathered, marine, or flying for variety. I think that would make people more happy. It would've also been a reinvention of the pack and the hybrids if they had skins/variants that changed their genes and gave them differing designs. I think people that enjoy hybrids (the target audience) would enjoy gene splicing. Think Emily Stepps hybrid art where she draws different genetic variants of Jurassic Park dinosaurs. the pack as it is now, with 2 new dinos essentially and 2 refurbished it is essentially 4 new dinosaurs, but the price doesnt feel warranted? This feels like a JWE1 dlc pack and the lack of marine, feathers, or fliers which has been the appeal of the packs for a while now is a bit disappointing.

I’m actually really happy we got a DLC that finally gave the four missing hybrids, it was long over due and seven species is a good number for their group in the game, now you can finally make a dedicated hybrid dinosaur facility, it’s great to have the Spinoraptor back, the Spinoceratops looks amazing, the Ankylodocus looks better than ever and the Stegoceratops looks even more fearsome, we haven’t gotten any new ceratopsian species in the game since the Pachyrhinosaurus, so the return of the Stegoceratops and the addition of the Spinoceratops is a really good decision, with three of the four missing Camp Cretaceous species now added, chances are 50/50 now that the Microceratus or the Smilodon will be the next missing species added into the game.

I feel like the Anklydocus should have had a unique animation where it would swing it's tail when being hunted, it could do damage to the carnivore hunting it before it gets attacked and could get the chance to kill the carnivore. I think that because sauropods in this game are too slow to fight, it would be a very anticlimactic battle.

I wish nights were darker, to the lights and lux skins really shine! I remember the first game night island being actually dark! I feared they wouldn't make Ankylodocus fight, but I hoped Frontier wouldn't commit that huge mistake again... Ankylodocus NOT fighting back was it's bigger problem in the first game, even more then how it looked. They improved his apearance, but it still not fighting back makes it pointless...

You should have a look at the Minecraft mod “prehistoric nature” it has over 800 prehistoric animals from the pre-cambrian all the way to the Jurassic at the moment the Jurassic is still being worked on so yea but they are going until the present day the creatures are as accurate as they can be within the restrictions of Minecraft and they will update animals and there models if new research comes out on them with noticeable differences

maybe you can sinoceratops as juvenile spinoceratops? sinoceratops already looks quite strange and the sail on spino seems like a more extreme version of pentas hump making it not completely unnatural. so they meet in a middle ground

In the release animation in the video you can see that the skin does turn green, but it doesn't affect the bright areas. It's not like it switches that off when camouflaging.

Since spinoceratops is supposed to be passive it might be that they wanted it to look like the carnivores killed themselves by charging into spinoceratops rather than having spinocera actively be the one doing the stabbing but.. idk.. fish feeder animation looks cool though. I wanted hybrids more than anything but between the animations for most of them, or rather lack of, and the fact that im not only gonna buy for spinoraptor, i might just skip this one sadly..

Evo, I'm not sure if you've showcased it, but the hybrids have social animations with their parent species, the only exceptions being the Spino hybrids don't socialize with the Spinosaurus. Also the hybrids are the ones who always initiate the interaction, not the parent species.

In the first game, the Stegoceratops was my favorite because she could impale her opponents with her long horns. Now, she doesn't even have an ending animation for the fight. The opponent just sinks to the ground. Now the Spinoraptor is my favorite hybrid.

As someone who likes the concept of hybrid dinosaurs I do quite like this dlc. However I think it would be very cool if they added all new hybrids (I know Spinoceratops is new but it’s the only one).
