Cheers Daniel. We've always wanted to show off the proper country pursuits, small days, cooking, syndicates, farm shoots, small gauges. Loads more to come. Jonathan

These walked up days are very reasonable, contact Stuart at Whitfield for info. You'll love film 3 Trystan, driven grouse with our 20 gauge and 24g 6's. Some incredible shooting and film. Thanks for your comment.

Brilliant nice video of a good rough shoot in a nice place and it was nice to see you shooting for once instead of being behind the camera makes a nice change I bet

Excellent video to promote the sport, its not all about big bags.
@JonathanMMcGee7 жыл бұрын
Exactly. Big bags have their place and its a privilege to shoot those days but this is were most start, where I started! I love nothing more than a walk up, good food and friends. Jonathan

Wonderful video. I'm interested in the knife that you used to when caking in the field. What is the maker please.

Awesome stuff once again. Nice to see a day through the whole cycle. Kill it, cook it, eat it. Now I'll be first to ask, what's lined up for the next video?RegardsNick.

Hey Nick, the next film of this series will be out at the end of November. We may possibly release some other commercial films showcasing various shoots, products, brands etc. Thanks again and stay tuned. Jonathan

The video was rendered in 50 fps and shot with a high shutter speed? Did you change your editing style? Very crisp footage Jonathan. ;-)

great footage as always .have you treated yourself to a longthorne or was it a loan ,very nice tool either way .
@JonathanMMcGee7 жыл бұрын
We do a lot of work with Longthorne so their team have allowed me to use a series of their incredible guns for these films. You should see the 20g, its amazing! I'm waiting on my .410! Thanks again.

What kind of exchangeable shock did you use in your shotguns with your shotgun, what number of lead did you use, if you can answer thank you !!!!! I'm from Brazil !
@JonathanMMcGee7 жыл бұрын
Greetings from England. No exchangeable stocks, two different guns. One gun was a 16 gauge from Longthorne and the other a cheap Turkish .410/36 gauge. We only used size 6 shot on this day.

i wonder all these birds who got away what happen to them..? Get eaten buy wild life or they reproduce and live free? Nice video Jonathan i like when i see you hunting! Cheers!
@JonathanMMcGee7 жыл бұрын
Hi Chris. The birds at didn't get shot would likely get shot on another day. If not shot yes they would go on to live wild or possibly be eaten by predators. I'm glad you like the film, we love making them. Jonathan

16 bore, not gauge, we're not Americans 😄

Did not see one dog work, very disappointing video. That said, the Lady's shot well considering their meager company, sorry daddy. Suggest you spend more time at West London Shooting and learn to stay on the second barrel That said to all........... and all bores. I didn't see one snipe taken, true? I'm just a Yank, what do I know. I love you Davy (Blair Athol, and then some), Bruce (best Stacker on a hard day's work), Neil McGowan (Best Chef, Pitlochery), Ian.... (been too long, forgot the beat... close to Dunkell), best dog? Janet's Labs Dunkell, and Mr. Smith at Glenn Eagles (Bracken's Blind into a wood, best retrieve ever I witnessed, just ask Janet's opinion), last and not least........... Billy McIntosh at Dewar's........ Thanks mate!) There are others and I don't want to sing and dance til the cows sleep, the whole herd! Good focus on savoring the day's harvest. Pity, no snipe. Yank
