Well Greg argued against that but I've seen Ze (different group) play it before. I have to agree that your proposed date should be your business. There is some great comedy in trying to make something terrible sound like it's a minor issue. Though I kind of hate the Red Flags that end up contradicting the initial pluses if I'm honest. Like the good conversationalist always uses air quotes. Just feels like the saboteur is going nuh uh like a 5 year old.

I'll be honest. Dumping cards that were objectionable was fine, but dropping cards you didn't like was frustrating. You're supposed to be forced to make hard choices and sell them, not just cycle the deck until you get what you like.

Agreed, I just stopped watching because he started doing that and was pleasantly surprised to see this comment so high up. Everyone agreed to the rule as long as you didn't abuse it and Ze abused the shit out of it. Not cool.

I like the rule that Greg suggested of dropping cards but you can't use the replacements that round if you do. The game is meant to be funny, but some of the cards are just lame and will occasionally result in a dump round of very Meh people otherwise.

I agree. I know the "always makes eye contact" really bugged Ze but you can get creative and turn it around. Like instead of imagining it like Mark Zuckerberg giving you the death stare all the time, it could be "oh, this person is a great listener, doesn't get distracted when you're venting or telling them about your day, doesn't get distracted by their phone, gives you really cute puppy dog eye looks." Etc. Half of thr game's fun is seeing how much you can bs lol. I'd say the only ones that are allowed to be discarded are the iffy ones like "is Jewish" cause yikes.

I'm only 11 minutes in but I get what Ze is going for here. I think it's funnier if the person who picked the white cards should read and sell the red card they were given. It's funny to see their reaction to their date getting ruined and still having to sell it 😂😂 The saboteur doesn't really need to explain the red card too much since the red cards are pretty self-explanatory when you're going for the sabotage approach Nonetheless I'm happy this game is back 😊

This was fun, but as others say I don't think you're supposed to be revealing the cards so early; you pick your two white cards, someone gives you a red card *then* you try and pitch the monstrosity you've now got as a result. If you're up for playing this again I'd love for you to try running it this way! Also, don't discard cards, or at the very least treat it like a mulligan (you need to discard the entire hand and draw all new cards, which could be even worse).

What a throwback game! I've been enjoying all the tabletop classics and I hope we keep seeing all the different ones there are with this awesome group! I do agree that Ze was right about how to explain the red cards and Greg was off, but it didn't really affect the humor too much so I was fine with how things played out. Courtilly is really coming into her own in these videos-defending Kim Jong Il is truly something, lol. I am loving how everyone does their best to sell these dates and I also don't mind discarding the very objectionable cards for better ones. It would be really cool if there were blank cards for you all to write in your own options for not just flaws but basic traits as well, but I don't know if that ability exists. Overall this was a very entertaining session and I loved seeing you all discover 'true romance'!

i personally think the cards are just too weak to be meaningful. is there a spicier or more interesting set of cards for both white and red? nothing that was read felt special or meaningful in anyway. Every red card feels dismissible with a maybe a three-word sentence at most. Air quotes is so weak xD "They like Dr. Evil" BOOM! counterpoint made and instant dismiss of the red card Too long at the Children's Playground; 'They want a child. Their biological clock is ticking!'
