Ole Miss recovered pretty well I'd say. I mean sure, we lost 53-52 in overtime to Arkansas which prevented us from winning the SEC West (Us and Alabama would've both finished 7-1 and we would've had the head-to-head victory over Bama) but we were able to kick Oklahoma State's ass 48-20 in the Sugar Bowl and finished in the Top 10.

🐾 So, why won't Ole MS play Memphis anymore? ... and the excuse of: out of conference doesn't fly, all teams play out of conference dates. (It is a really odd decision, because both Universities made major income on these games, advertising, attendance, and the local businesses profited largely.) I'm an Alumni of Memphis, there was never a mention of this in the past until this game. We have (W, Tied, Lost several), and (this Memphis Win really must have upset Ole MS). Unless it's a petty issue? 8I can't think of any valid reason. It cost them more than Memphis in profits when the games were in Oxford, the number/attendance is routinely their largest. Local businesses have to miss the income. We have an Outstanding Stadium, and Visiting Teams love to come to Memphis. GO TIGERS !!! 🐾
