As a liverpool fan, when Klopp first came in, for the first 2 seasons, the scores were like 4-3, 6-1 and even 2-4 in quite a few games. All the pundits were slogging Klopp left and right. Klopp himself revealed later that he was focused on getting attack right before he got his defensive reinforcements (especially Allison and VVD). I get the sentiment of a fan, especially when you've been so upbeat (and had expectations after few weeks). But, Ange's real test is next season, when he gets a bit more squad depth. At the very least, now is not the time to evaluate when you've 10 squad members out. He still has you in league cup semis.

All of a sudden everybody praises Klopp and Liverpool but it wasn’t like that when he first came when they concede lot of goals so keep blaming Ange if he does take Tottenham to the next level do not change your words

What a damning statement on Ange. He scored 3 goals against the mighty Liverpool with a makeshift squad hampering his defence and playing the style he wanted. Considering his handicap there are positives

As an Aussie, i said it from the start with Ange becoming manager of Spurs. I said that he's not good enough for the PL, especially for one of the top six clubs.

Im a Liverpool fan but I was impressed at how Tottenham kept going even after we went well ahead the problem is you just can't play against Liverpool in that way our counter is deadly.

The 3 goals conceded became a hot topic simply because Liverpool had such a great defensive record under Slot. A 6-3 scoreline was more like a scoreline for Liverpool under Klopp, where they usually play the gong-ho, we-don't-care-about-defense-but-we-will-win-by-outscoring-you type of game.

I was watching on KZbin a fellow scouser saying was as Liverpool fans are watching the Old boot room which the late great Sir Bill Shankly started then passed on to Sir Bob Paisley now we have the modern day versions Klopp the new Sir Bill Shankly who took Liverpool from a bang average mid table team into world beaters then Klopp leaves, leaving Liverpool with a fantastic squad of players and then our recruitment team (which is the best in world football FACT) who went and got Slot who is now being hailed as the new Sir Bob Paisley and this scouser is so right when you analyse what he said is very true. I have supported Liverpool for 53 years and I have seen some of the greatest Liverpool side to grace the beautiful game and like Henry when he was in the car having his rant (which I totally praise him for) yet I did see a tear in his eye’s which is truly understandable because I cried when we were crap) yet he we are and this is no disrespect to Henry or any Spurs fans but Liverpool where just so silk it was unreal, Slot is a genius that can change his team into different positions and instantly the players know what to do and they can adapt at any given moment and boy it was Craig Burley on ESPN said after been asked can you describe in one word on how Liverpool played and Craig was spot on Silk and that is what we are. I feel your pain Henry because I have been in your situation so I know how much you are hurting but for me roll on Leicester on Boxing Day and good luck in your next game YNWA

As a Liverpool fan, I have to say Spurs had extenuating circumstances for the loss/margin. Spurs played the league game with the same players, you have several first team players injured, and some of your younger players don't have enough epl experience. We understand how injuries can disrupt games negatively. Hopefully your injured players will be well soon. But you've still got some good players. D. Kulusevki was good. So were Maddison and Solanke.

As a Liverpool fan, it was embarrassing how easy it was to cut through Spurs. When you are up against a superior opponent you must be a little bit more cautious

Klopp was aggressive and didn't warry about defence too much. He went out and bought the best CB and keeper in the world which sorted out the problem. Ange needs to do the same. Levy needs to back him with money and buy the best 2 CB's, DM, left and right backs and Kellaher as keeper in the summer. Then he should be fine to play Ange ball or heavy metal Klopp ball. The following year buy a better striker and a midfielder. By then that is truley his team and if results don't come then sack him. I believe every manager needs 3 to 4 years

As a combination, those front four Spurs players are as good as any of the best teams in the league. The goals scored proves this. Liverpool may have gone to sleep after going 5-1 up but Spurs still had to convert those chances and they were class goals, not a result of luck. Spurs can kill you if you let them. As a Liverpool fan I'm not concerned about the goals conceded over the last three games because Slot is such an analytical and adaptable manager that he will look to remedy those issues as he has done with other minor issues since the start of the season.

Liverpool knows what is Christmas, they gave free gift to prevent Ange from getting sack, after scoring 5-1. have a thought for Spurs with the injuries which is massive and Liverpool been through it before. Football is a simple game of who makes the most mistakes loses. Luckily the corrupt referree isn't around.

Ang wont be sacked at least till end of the season and lets see where spurs are when they have a full squad available and new signings in January and think any manager would struggle with the amount of players missing

Liverpool should be ashamed that they did not score 9 or 10 goals. How can you concede 3 goals against Spurs??? Alisson and VVD and Gomez made some clangers... Need to now keep 10 cleansheets in a row to make up for this. Lastly the title race is between Liverpool and VAR/PGMOL.

We scored 6 out of 9 big chances so don't see any problems with the attack yesterday. Konate should be back any moment now and Robertson has to go. He failed to close down the space for the second goal and doesn't try to win the header against Brennan Johnson for the third.

Everyone going overboard about the Liverpool performance!!! Yes it was good, they are a very good team, one of the best in Europe as they have been for seasons now. BUT let’s have it right, Spurs lineup with 4/5 of their first back 5 missing and they are horribly coached by Ange defensively. It’s dicey to play a high line at film strength against the best attack in Europe, but with that back 5!!!!! Yes Liverpool were good but once again they have played a top half of the team away massively weakened through injury who in this case insisted on playing a high line to make it easy….. Let’s not go overboard…..

Problem you have is who will replace ange if spurs decide to sack him. My advice is to take a leaf from Brighton and find a hidden gem of a manager who is off the beaten track and doesnt get mentioned such as A slot. I bet you a lot of clubs out there in europe are probably saying who is this guy Slot and how did he not come into our radar

Disagreee with your take mate. Ange is on a similar level to Slot, but our players - especially our central midfield and squad depth are far from elite. In my view Ange's main strategy is to create a team with the best attack in the league, which will force the other teams to change their tactics when playing against us. We just have to stick with a certain playing style, e.g. attacking and pressing, otherwise the rebuild will continue forever. Due to our change of playing style in the Mourinho and Conte years, we are still in the middle of the same rebuild - we have brought young players with big potential, but we need to find backup goalkeeper, centre-back, left-back, winger, striker and a starting DM (possibly backup attacking midfielder as well). The lack of leaders/strong characters is also a problem, especially when Romero is injured and Maddison is inconsistent.
