Frogger was a pretty cool guy until they realized you could not do much with that gameplay style and so they sold him to those guys who made poopy games and his wife left him. Sucks.

The dialogue in this game was obviously crafted by a team of professional writers and provides us with some of the most realistic and complex conversations I've ever heard. This probably seems inevitable, so here's a collection of childhood memories that I had with the PC port of this game. 1.) Seeing enemies t-pose in the distance before their path finding kicked in freaked me out as a kid. 2.) There were chests in the mushroom level that when I opened them, an enemy would spawn behind me, scaring the frick out of me because of how the camera was placed. 3.) The power in my house went out as a I playing the forest level with the wolf monster chase, corrupting the audio in the later half of the stage. 4.) The second to last level in the game once got softlocked because a knight that was necessary to progress the story got stuck on a pile of rubble. 5.) I used to be sad that my computer stopped reading the disk and I could only a finish single playthrough of this game. I owned no other platforming games at the time.

The Gameboy Advance version of this is honestly damn good, I've had it since I was a kid and even my mom used to play it, although you gotta replay the game to get some diamonds and level grades you couldn't get before, this would unlock the true ending, so that's kind of a grind. There's a level skip code spelled as "K K D B B" which was pretty funny to see if you speak spanish, pronouncing it would translate to roughly "baby crap", they knew what they were doing

I like how the "fairy frogmother" character or whatever her name is helped Patter the Natter at the perfect times only when he needed help. It was especially helpful when Peter saw a golden round thing and she said, "That is a coin!" This game is the true peak of pop culture and needs to be recognized more for establishing helpful tutorials and hints in video games and all cinematic media in general.
