That discarded pokemon really reminds me of Carracosta with it's stance, shape, and size. The idea of a fossil pokemon really strikes me too. It looks like they were trying to make a Nothosaurus or aquatic reptile fossil pokemon. That thing is really cool

(just in case yyou still didn't know) I will say the "leak" was from a mega data breach. An employee got hacked/Fished for their log in and the hacker got acsess to all this information. Including employee private info, the game info was secondary. We just are looking at the game stuff for obvious reasons. The employee was (most likely) not intending for all this to happen.

All those messed up stories are literally just real life myths and folktales with Pokémon slapped on. Even the Bible literally has stories just as crazy as those, so idk why people are freaking out. Sure it’s surprising to see it from Pokémon of all things but you gotta remember those leaks were from Gen 4 days, when mythology was the main theme. They probably used those stories as reference before making the tamer ones we got in the Canalave Library. Pokémon literally still does this to this day. The Pecharunt and Loyal Three lore we got from Gen 9 is just the actual Momotaro folktale from the real world but switched around a bit.

Ok hear me out, instead of it being a watermelon, the thing on gallades hips is a small ballerina tutu. Because ballerinas are strong and agile dancers (kinda like what they did with hisuian lilligant) and kirlia was based on them too, Gallade just has a small tutu, but it wouldve been awkward to draw it in detail. Kinda like how roserades roses look way more stylized than roselia
