The problem with events nowadays is that the platform was invaded by simulator games a couple years back and are now eating away and making the new events worse, basically Roblox has neglected there community so much that the platform began rotting with simulators and ptw games, and now it’s finally starting to effect them.

There was something special about one egg hunt a year; now we've had 3 (very similar) events within a few months. They went from having far too little to what seems like is going to be far too much. They are trying far too hard to win back roblox players and its not working.

@@hoseaphillips7668 Normal until they stopped doing Egg Hunts altogether... I even miss doing those old Hallow's Eve events and they stopped doing those back in like 2019. Roblox is really not trying anymore no matter what kinds of events they add, these events will never beat the OG events.

@@hoseaphillips7668 That sounds awesome! I don't get why they didn't just do that instead of entirely ending seasonal events, as well as ending egg hunts because they're "too religious." If it had anything to do with religion, then almost nobody would've even played the events. The entire focus was set on the eggs, there's nothing religious about it, so wtf was Roblox thinking here? They fucked up hard, and there's no way they're gonna make a good comeback from this.

I think roblox just seems to make events constantly with little to no time between eachother. Which "maybe" explains why the game selection is flat out awful (I mean, we got a skibidi toilet tower defense on the classic 💀) Yet another move on how out of touch roblox is. Because its been alot of events made while all we wanted was just a DECENT EGG HUNT, ONCE PER YEAR.

@@ereeeroblox5924 I think what he was trying to say was that Roblox used to put way too much effort into just one yearly Egg Hunt, and despite this, the Egg Hunt events have been performing better than standard roblox events nowadays. The events in 2024 are typically rushed and have little to no effort put into them, making them feel empty, bland and show no love for the community whatsoever.

My issue with these events is that they feel like a reskin of "The Hunt." It would be much better if the events were unique and included cool quests to complete, instead of relying on games that don't put in much effort. Additionally, the battle pass prizes are just reskins of the free prizes. While some of them look cool, I believe that purchasing the battle pass should offer different, exclusive rewards.
