As someone who's also 100% completed the event, I agree; Roblox cares more about the games that are popular than the games that want to put as much love in them as possible and the ACTUAL classic games; don't get me wrong, the developers for The Classic's games tried, but there are tons of other talented developers who could've made something a lot less tedious; I can imagine these spots were contested though

Fun fact, I did manage to finish the bedwars mode solo easily. ..by letting the bed die and then making a platform over the void and waiting a solid 70mins for the penguins to essentially attempt to reach me each round, failing, and falling into the void. I tried even longer clearing it with other people, and figured this cheese method was the only way to get it over with. 0/10 for that trash fest

The “new” Bedwars event is actually just a reuse of an event they had a few years ago, an exact copy with tix, it was also insanely hard back then. Me and my friend couldn’t to it, we basically had ptsd.

i completely agree with you. they hop on trends more than caring about what the really old members of the community want. which naturally makes sense bc at the end of the day they are trying to make the most money. you could obviously tell which selected games had actual effort put into them compared to others. for example doors was asked to particpate but they declined, not considered a classic game but being one of roblox's most popular games on its site it made sense. but if doors did accept im sure they would have made a fun and engaging classic event

Banger vid - the fact The Classic lobby still currently has 1k+ active players show how it easily is the best part of the event. Even after i 100%'d it, I stayed playing there for a bit, just having fun launching people into game portals, it's awesome. I hope there won't be that many of these events because don't really feel like doing one of these every 2-3 months; Egg Hunts being yearly made them a lot more special. Regarding the games, I'm surprised I did not find that many other people complaining about how most of them handled the Token / Tix system - to be honest the entire thing could've easily been about 50 badges total instead of 253/257 (the bling badges count torwards the number LOL). It's clear how there was no cohesion between the quests of the various games, with a lot of them just being tedious grinds. BTW, regarding 5:27; you AK collided with the killbot, making it turn so you ended up shooting yourself. Yeah, that can happen. It's stupid. (also the hiloh controversy was pretty much solved and i don't think that matters at all because the official roblox twitter account directly congratulated him for placing first in the other hunt)

You know it when Roblox picks "those popular games" for the event. Overall, gotta say this event is pretty rush (some excluded). Roblox didn't really took the criticism wholely. Same as this event which didn't completely resolve its foundback legacy and didn't reach our expectations. I really hope honestly, its better if its pushed off somewhere 5-7 months when The Hunt ended. They could really use some enough time with PASSION and CREATIVITY while organizing the event. Plus, this could render out the nostalgiabait that I HOPE they could just do it with passion like the past events that are not that hard to contemplate. And plus, we really dont have a problem being a 5-7 month of waiting the next edition. Like seriously 4 YEARS OF NO EVENT and still you survived, in some cases its affirmative! If it would be pushed off with more months, games that participated in the event will have the same output as A dusty trip and Arsenal (they start with A's so A for them!). And also Bee swarm simulator if considered. I think what we really expect is that we would be making LONG ADVENTURES and MADE FRIENDS ALONG THE WAY! The classic event said otherwise. We had small time for the event which we expect to live moments in the classic times LONGER. And they're in a great hustle with cheap and poor outputs and a tight deadline. This is why passion and creativity doesn't value here because nowadays, Roblox is hogging money, advert and make money as soon as possible. Clarifications are understood by mine and gotta say nonetheless, events are back, but they're not truly put out of creativity and putting tension into the event, its just "grind, repetitive tasks and collect tixes and tokens" thats it. I hope in the Third Edition (hope there is honestly), Roblox should read criticisms and expectations from people first before organizing and planning for an upcoming event. Although I nearly completed the event (248/257), I had some times of fun and the devs tried to put their game into the event as themeing and with high quality as possible (good for them), but really they should put some tension or set off some difficulties just for the event to be LIVELY again... And really for Roblox to be TRULY BACK LISTENING TO THE COMMUNITY, Just like the past egg hunts. And I hope Roblox sees the problem and learns a lesson.

Usually I play roblox events to 100% completion, but this one was different. The oldest event I can remember playing is Egg Hunt 2016 and ever since that I've at least attempted every major event. When this was announced, I was pretty excited since it looked promising and I was hoping it'd be better than The Hunt, so I came in with high expectations. Still with all the hype behind it, I waited for the first day to pass to read reviews and I was shocked at how disappointing it was. It was just an over glorified Hunt with less games. The items really weren't great, and the selection of games were strange for the genre of the event. I looked at the lobby a bit and was overwhelmed, so I went to go look at the games. First game I picked was Blade Ball since I figured it'd be easy, but it got really boring waiting for the boss to start so I went to driving empire and quit once I realized it was a massive grinding simulator. After that I just quit and honestly I'm happy I didn't go through with it. Disappointing event and I hope roblox learns a lesson from these past two events

I remember playing on a guest account in 2015, making my first account in 2016, losing that account and making another in 2018, forgetting the password and making the account i have today. I saw how the events roblox had has really changed.. i remember getting egg hats from games i didnt even know were part of it. and ngl i feel like the problems started to occur either after brick bronze's deletion or live-ops. most roblox games back then also had so much passion and effort put into them. now it feels like it's just super saturated and childish. it really pains to see how the platform changed for the worse.

In the 4 minute mark of the video, you basically just had the exact same opinion that I had about there being missed potential for the RoToken badges! Honestly, the idea of multiple objectives for each RoToken is very awesome, it's just that not every game did that route (which sucked). Even the games that had the best objectives in this event (like Arsenal for instance) still had this issue of a drawn out milestone completion award for the RoTokens. The most notable game for me is Bee Swarm Simulator, as I had a lot of fun playing that objective with my friends (so i didnt have to do it with randoms), and everything about the objective just felt nice. Except for the use of milestones for the RoToken stuff, i didnt like that cause it was used so much. You covered this event review video well by the way! Great editing and great ways of describing stuff about the event.

Absolutely agree with everything. While i have not completed neither the hunt nor the classic, I didn't complete those because they were boring as HELL (at least i got the bucket hat) Roblox doesn't do quality checks and they only want big, successful games in their events so the outside of roblox thinks that they're very in touch with the community and doing a good job. I'm pretty sure some classic games even applied for the classic and were DENIED, which is honestly just insane. Some games were good (A Dusty Trip, Arsenal, BSS etc.), but most are just a shitfest meant to milk premium payouts out of the clueless premium players, that think these items would look good on them and that the completionist dream isn't masochism. also the lobby of the classic was genuinely the best part of the event, i had so much fun on that i can't lie all the quests were fun to do and even though i don't like games focused on minigames or general random doings meant to induce fun, this brought me back to the days when you could play stuff like epic minigames, murder mystery 2, flood escape 2 or flee the facility or etc. in 2018 and have fun for hours.

on the same page as you in the earlier part of the video. joined on 8/11 2015, so my account will be 10 aswell soon. highschool gonna be crazy. i met so many friends in the period before the roblox logo changed from red and white. i can perfectly sing the xbox theme in my head, i remember playing innovation inc games on the xbox, i remember the egg hunts being a large part of the fun i got from roblox. so many large games from that period have changed their ways. roblox just doesnt have the fun it used to, so ive decided to try becoming a roblox game developer, maybe try to bring that nostalgia back in some way. roblox has been in my life for basically as long as i can remember. roblox just seems to be trying to get as realistic as possible, but back then they just wanted their players to have fun. i know i cant go back. i know itll just be memories. so if your reading it to this, dont be sad that you cant relive it, not only be happy that you experienced it, but also be happy that it may not be the end of the good times.

Honestly, the classic event is an W event Toilet tower defense, was added which saved the event Toilet tower defense is the best tower defense game, the gameplay is so good, the graphics are as beautuful as sirius A's shine... playing toilet tower defense makes me cry of how much nostalgia from 2014 playing garrys mode, good old times... toilet tower defense is a place serene, beautiful as a galaxy andromeda... hope you get your deserved bloxy awards prize... Once i was with my dad on the top of a mountain, se was watching stars, seeing constellation. And one of the costellation was a toilet form! It was a signal! A signal of something gonna happen! And happened! Toilet tower defense got released and it was incriblely good! I started to play it everyday till now and i never stopped. Toilet tower defense is a masterpiece made my greek gods because of how majestic, beautiful and perfect. Playing it gives so much peace, makes me feel on a garden with birds singing and clean water... so much peace toilet tower defense give...

the reason that the game selection is so bad is probably due to a lack of communication, you actually had to apply to get in so either nobody knew know or nobody applied

Feodoric I'm surprised how much you're like me My 10 year anniversary for joining Roblox (or rather, my account's life) is this July (along with the 10 year anniversary of my first video) and I just graduated high school. I HATED the games they put into the classic, but had a ton of fun playing in the main hub game. I never played an egg hunt before (I was stupid), hated metaverse and actually like the hunt for the most part (only the good games where effort was put forth, arsenal and scp: roleplay cooked as always) but I mostly agree with what you had to say

I have never really completed both events which is sad but for a good reason since the hunt had to much games and it really overwhelmed me and i had school during that time and the classic despite it not having that much games unlike the hunt i never found it interesting i did complete one game though which is TDS since i was gaining intrest to that game again during that time and also these were the first event i participated in like EVER i think there were other events that had happened before those but i never participated in them at all really but im crossing my fingers and hoping the future events are gonna be really good ones since the classic felt less shittier than the hunt

tds' event was really good, but the big problem with it is that if you aren't aware of how to play it, so, i kind of went through it with ease (i'm level 286 :D )

I really expected FE2 to be in the event, im not gonna lie. Im playing that game from 2017, i really expected it to be there, Crazyblox would just cook it up. But we just got the same games as the hunt, but, atleast bss was there, im glad they gave chsnce to one of the classic games cook. However, i liked event. You can say its mid or bad, but, its wasnt bad or good, its was just like the hunt, pretty mid and awkward, but pretty fun and playable. Maybe Roblox will listen players in the next Event coming and give creators more time? We'll see.

I will never not be immensely disappointed in Dragon Adventures’ integration. Raise a Dragon was such an integral game in the early days of Roblox and they had a golden opportunity to pay homage to what is fundamentally their roots but opted for a playtime extender cop-out instead

I would just like to say this about tds. It only really sucks if you have no experience with the game and don’t know how to use stuff. I haven’t really played the game but I watched a lot on it so I know how to use like every tower. It was ok if you like td games and I think it wasn’t that bad tbh. But I also do agree with your statement that roblox doesn’t really care, with them also mostly choosing the games from the hunt that didn’t even care about it and just used it for money. I hope this changes.
