@Lobogame1 They have an Android barrier on a raider, plus an insane evolution speed and a break strike on top of that at tier 3, along with above-average ki blasts and two snipes. Level 1 and 2 aren't bad in a good lobby but if your teammates won't jump them with you and they hit a fast tier 3 they can sit on the top of the map with a Dragon Ball and a power key (or on top of a power key location) and make it impossible for Survivors to break the stalemate since they can Instant Descent + Android Barrier to guarantee they don't lose their balls/keys and time out Dragon Changes. If the Gammas play the game like normal they're not that bad but if they choose the optimal strategy of just getting tier 3 and then stalling the match it becomes a complete slog.

Funny enough I played the gammas last night the team I faced found all keys in exactly a minute and a half I knew I lost but when I’m a survivor my teammates favorite food is tide pods

Not only do the gammas feel bad but they’re also the closest thing u have to feeling control over the game. Also there have been a lot of ppl who switch their builds to EF builds since the gammas can’t counter em directly

Gammas from level one to 2 are practically the same level three if one of the gammas go down it’s like you’re practically back in your level two magenta can cost you games cell max doesn’t feel strong enough for a giant

Yeah the gamma strat is to immediately get a key to stall out game and then get to max level 3 which is actually a valid strat now with the keys spawning so late Key rushing is the way to easily beat the gammas since they wont get enough time for max level 3

I feel like breakers got too overzealous with the raiders tbh, and we’re seeing the effects of that with the gammas. They’re legit not even bad guys and their key gimmick makes the game unfun for everyone. The issue here is that they only have that gimmick because they’re not bad guys. Idk why the devs decided to add them so early when there’s still tons of actually evil DB villains to add, most (if not all) of which wouldn’t have to rely on keys, saving civs and not destroying areas (aka like the literal core elements of a raider). The gammas wouldn’t be so bad if they were added later, but as I was saying before, the devs got overzealous. This is only the 6th raider to be added to the game, which is only on its 2nd anniversary. There’s a reason Dokkan waited 8 years to add a game changer like standby skills, because the game didn’t need it until then. Raiders were fine how they worked. Some gimmicks here and there isn’t a bad thing, but idk why we got one that doesn’t even do half of the raider shit so early into the game’s lifespan. Again, wouldn’t be an issue if we had more raiders already, but they don’t even fit the role, they hardly use any raider mechanics and they’re not fun to fight against! This, combined with the fact that they’re the headliner (and the only content) of the 2nd season is why I think most people don’t enjoy them, because the game just didn’t need them yet

@ every time I see them as the raider in a match I audibly groan. Everything about them is slow and boring, for both the guy using them and the survivors. Also, not rly that big of an issue but still lame, their voice lines suck ass. They don’t talk smack like Baby or Goku Black, for example, because they’re good guys. Yet another key feature of the raiders that they just don’t have (ig it’s better than Broly just screaming but that’s not a high bar lmao)
