Idk why people are hating on the gan 14 pro, I can see why people hate the regular 14, but the 14 pro is very nice, I got mine pre-lubed from the cubicle and it’s much better than my 13 or 12, if you have the money to spare I’d recommend a gan 14 pro

I never understand why people always say that a cube being too fast is a problem, but being too slow is fine because you can use lube to speed it up. How does that make sense when it's easier to slow a cube down with lube than speed it up? Cubes also slow down over time. You can also infinitely slow a cube down, but you can't infinitely speed it up. Kind of like how being too cold is better than being too hot, because if you're too cold, you can put an infinite amount of clothes on, but if you're too hot, you can't take an infinite amount of clothes off because you will eventually be naked.

I've never heard of someone saying that, it's the opposite like you said. Yes usually you do use lube to slow down a cube and make it more controllable, I mean unless it's bone dry...

The gan 12 is still the best gan cube despite the catching If I had to recommend a cube it would be Tornado V3 flagship its feel and the solving experience is awesome

I have the Gan 12 and I have never had problems with catching.

​​@@bonthecuber the problem with the 12 is that just because it has a 100s of possible setting combinations, 90% of them are trash. Gan 12 should be used close to factory settings. Which yes means you need a certain turning style for it. If you get the 12, and you try to adjust it to your preference, there is a good chance you'll be disappointed. You need to adjust to the cube, not the other way around. Yes, this means it's not for everyone. It's paradoxical almost, cubes have the most number of settings as ever but I would argue old cubes had in fact more flexibility in how you could set them up.

Tymon and Matty uses the gan 12. Matty switched to the gan 15 a couple hours ago but like the 14. Tymon said the 14 was too fast and I think the 15 is gonna be too fast and light for most people. Most people will stick to the 12 due to that reason only. Matty uses insanely fast cube like Chinese cubers. The six year olds will probably switch to the 15 when it releases and get 3s lol
