Those Kray twins were disgusting creatures ..... they eventually got their comeuppance though, with Ronnie spending 16 yrs in the insane ward of Broadmoor and Reggie dying of bladder cancer. Those men in 'grey suits' in the palace did their job by keeping Princess Margaret safe at home.

Her Royal Highness Princess Margaret seems to have been the centre of a lot of celebrity (in the true sense of the word, not the cheap tacky version of today) action in the late 1950s and 1960s. Is this because she was sought out as maybe available and vulnerable, or because she was that kind of person. Now there's the background to a great film. Good morning my dear Lyndell, greetings from a cold dark Anglesey morning, phew it's bitter out there. I do hope you are keeping well and cool, you are always in my thoughts and prayers. It was a bitter day yesterday too, one of those days when you never get warm, the car was frozen up and the grass white and frozen. We took Kasey and Bayley out a little later hoping the ground wouldn't be so cold but it was but they skipped and frolicked around the dunes having a great time, like little lamps bobbing around, they were so funny. Not so when we came across two big hairy Newfoundland dogs, Bayley growled and ran off, Kasey had a sniff and lick, said Hi then moved on. Nothing phases my superstar. We had a surprise but wonderful appearance of a very lovely crafty Red Squirrel on our window ledge, eating merrily away whilst Merry on the other side of the window was having a hissy fit trying to fathom out what it was, so much so she fell off the window ledge with shock, she was fine just got back and started again. The Squirrel wasn't bothered he even gave us a friendly look, filled his belly and left. Bless him, so cute. Our bird feeders are very popular especially in this cold weather, they come on their droves and it's wonderful. Please take care of yourself my friend, you are always in my thoughts and hope you feel the love and support from across the sea always wishing you well. @heleneentwistle8050 "Good evenng" dearest Helene, and I did laugh 😂 lovingly (at) Bayley, after reading how he "growled" a those large dogs before runing away; while Kasey said "hello" in her friendly way, wanting to be friends. Bayley really does 'choose' his moments to be brave, doesn't he? 😉🤗 Yet, sweet Merry was so brave telling the Squirel 'what's what' even if she did fall off the window ledge, but getting right back up, to continue telling it off. "Brave Merry" indeed! 😊 You mentioned how cold 🥶 it is where you are, and you're right, as I just looked it up. With it only being about 1°c at the moment, getting up to a top of only 4°c today fo you. "OUCH!" Very cold, while here after 7pm it is still 29°c after a top in the 30's today. With hot 🥵 temperatures here for the next week or so, although some rainfall 🌦 expected (due to the humidty) too! We can't really complain though, as how aweful it is in LA, USA 🇺🇸 with the terrifying bushfires throughout the area! With so many homes lost, and deaths as well, and not much the fire fighters can do (through no fault of their own) due to a lack of resources and even water, with the wind making the fires 🔥 spread so fast. Many have lost everything. Other than their lives, but it will be a long time before the full extent of the damage can be assessed, let alone any rebuiding takes place. While 'some' may never rebuild, but decide to move away. I guess, all we can do is to pray 🙏 for them all, and hope for no more loss of life. I too have been saddened and horrified by the fires in LA as I was for your bush fires, it is truly desperate and heartbreaking and my thoughts and prayers go to all those poor people and those who are caring for them.
