Hi and welcome to Kate's Space. This is a flip through of the last journal I completed in 2023.
It was intended for a gardener as a garden planning journal so it has a lot of pages to write draw glue photos and sketch on.
It is a big hefty journal made from a vintage book. It measures 26 cm x 17.5 with a 2 inch spine. Hidden hollow back binding with 7 signatures and 250 pages.

What a lavish, delicious book this turned out to be. Really enjoyed your own pressed flowers you used. Also loved the actual old vintage photos of the ladies in their beloved gardens. That always looks like an almost perfect era to live in, as long as you could just stay outside in the gardens. Thanks Kate for sharing all your hard work to us.

I love it so much! It's absolutely wonderful. Reminds me of the style of Edith Holden. Such a vintage feel I just want to plan all the garden things in it. Of course with a beautiful Victorian hat and basket.

Thank you Shane. The flowers are pohutakawa flowers. They eco print so well. It they do make holes in the paper as they are so woody. I’ve just done some more yesterday because I was going to miss the flowers if I did g get a move on.

Absolutely stunning journal. What a joy to watch. Towards the end their was a pressed flower and leaves with a piece of waxed paper paper-clipped over top; was that vintage or something you made to look that way? I just loved the detail of that!

Thank you so much. The paper over the pressed flowers is like glassine from an old like photo album or stamp album. I buy them from thrift stores if I see them specifically for the glassine. 🤍😃
