To even get to the Crazy 8 mud hole, you have to cross a couple of nasty gatekeeper holes. If your rig can't pull these, you may want to just hang out near the edge. This pit is no joke!

I have a couple of the questions. Why don’t mudders use diff lockers , I understand that you lose steering control but at the push of a button you can disengage the lock? Why don’t any of the big guys use winches?

honest question: If pretty much everything is already specifically built for these trucks... why don't they use portal axles? Wouldn't they make a HUGE improvement in deep mud - because then you wouldn't have to drag the axle THAT much through it?!

Does your mother know you have the computer on in the basement?? The truck has plenty of power to turn the wheels. Diesels are torque monsters, it's called gearing little Timmy, guys who run big wide tires like that run lower gears so they don't snap axles left right and center. If you pay close attention you'll notice that 99% of the guys who turn um fast have skinnys on. Now yell for Mommy to bring you a hot Pocket
