Story- I was supposed to be preparing lesson plans but loved to crochet hats, so I did. Sometimes all day. My classes became lively and fun, and people actually learned. One weekend I went on a bike tour of the city. (This ties in.) I left my purse . . . somewhere along the route. On the search for my purse I found out there was a block party for artists in the area that night. I went and I got offered a booth space to sell the hats at the next market. Sold none, had a blast. There I saw paintings and thought "I can do that." I later sold paintings there and at a gallery. I got to hang out with my favorite artist! This was by accident. I had read Finding Your Own North Star. . . .

I love the way your mind works, Martha Beck. Your radiance, your enthusiastic expression, playfullness, depth of insight and wisdom are so inspiring. You are one awesome human! Gina Chick too, another incredible human! What a beautiful world to be a part of 🙏🏻🥰 I'm on the journey of nurturing my inner child, encouraging her to shine her magic, and listening to you talk feels so supportive of that journey 🩷✨️🌿

I’m so glad I’ve found you on KZbin! I was first introduced to you when I found a copy of Steering By Starlight many years ago serendipitously on the street, and similarly you seemed to drop into my KZbin feed at a much later (but similarly pivotal) time in my life. I usually put on a video at the end of the night while I’m counting my tips and closing up the bar where I work. Your video on Pleasure appeared tonight and I recognized your name and immediately hit play! I did the jaw and shoulder tensing exercises along with you as I listened. It was very resonate and sweet, but since I was at work I couldn’t totally dip into the meditation or the pleasure. I had only just arrived home, taken a shower and was doing my beauty routine when I found myself just slow all the way down. It was like my body was relaxed on a deeper level and was open to all the pleasure available in the moment of the mundane things - like just using a Q-tip! 🤣 As silly as it may sound, it just felt wonderful and like my body was more sensitive and receptive, less in a fear state or unconsciously hurrying to the next thing. Thank you!! I just had to stop to write a comment, I’m going to do the meditation before bed right now. I can’t wait to listen to more of your videos and I’m very happy to have you back in my life in this way! 🌟🤗 Comments were turned off on the Pleasure video so leaving this here! 🩵

New fan of you Martha Beck (from Tim Ferris podcast). My wish is that you take this further and do some scientific tests on your manifestation ability. Can your results be predictable? If you manifest monkeys 100 times, how often do they show up? If you ask them to leave 100 times, how often do they leave? Wim Hof had fantastic abilities too, the scientice team working with him won the nobel prize for their findings. Love from Sweden
