I also took to water coloring in recent years, and agree it can be quite unforgiving. I’ve taken those paintings, cut them into bookmarks, write this quote on the back “That thing that makes you happy, do more of that”, then hide them in books and the library and bookstore and gift them to people that I see reading in public.

I save so many versions of the Gathering Room, but this one is just exactly the perfect message at the perfect time. I will be forever grateful for you showing up here just the way you are. I understand Ro saying "don't tell them what to do" but please never stop, I love your shine and the level of intelligence and the books you reference and the concepts you articulate. Thank you for being you.

I KNEW you were going to mention drawing and painting!!!!! 🎉So happy for you to be doing this in your daily practice. So loving what you are sharing here - I think you’re also a genius at sharing big ideas and making them so relatable and personally relevant.

"Go ahead. Upend your life. I've done it several times. It works really well." There's a context in which it was said. I have also done this. It worked really well.😅

I’m a creative genius. I’m not bragging. It’s a fact. The first thing you should notice about me is that I listen to Martha Beck.

and that Martha would encourage bragging! 🎉

I turn all my “crap” watercolor paintings into bookmarks :) Cut them up into strips! If you’re feeling extra, laminate them ❤

From the book flow it says most people are not autolectic, meaning in the moment they always have a goal they're like irritating chasing sheep they can't even decide where to park by themselves you park in an empty lot and they creep you out and Park right next to you and then they stare at you all the way out they'll make you close your door if you're in your car just Park right next to you. There is one now after I move my car away from the crowd right next to me

I think you meant Edwin Land rather than George. :)
