Do you feel you can raise the arms when putting so that club is on impact plane?

Hi Raghu, I'm not really raising my arms, just gripping the putter normally with the trail (right in my case) hand and locking the grip against my lead arm. If you'll notice, almost every tour pro putts with a single plane trail arm even with the standard length putters. I'll bet you do to if you look into a mirror with a down the line view! That being the trail arm at least up to the elbow matches the plane of the putter shaft.

I’d like to think my putting demonstration was your inspiration for telling us what NOT to do! 😂

I still use the dirty Larry putting trainer, mostly just in the house though. I'll let you use it next week!

Tony, I am just like you with the lines on the ball. I find them completely confusing trying to get them pointed in the direction I think the ball needs to travel to accommodate any break. The truth of the matter is it’s more about the speed & speed control,. It’s possible to make a putt on probably four or five different lines, depending on how hard you hit the ball and how accurate you are sending it off in the right direction to accommodate that speed. You didn’t use the words swing tempo that others talk about but you demonstrated it perfectly. Getting a long putt inside 5ft and dropping the second one to eliminate 3 putts on my scorecard helped my remove 4-6 strokes from my scorecard. Another common sense, good advice video from the Geezer Tony.
