I just pulled up my Alvarez her current damage reduction says it is @ 1.5 percent, that the same as damage resistance? Would i benefit with some damage reduction then? What heroes will buff teams damage reduction to a point you don't need to worry about using damage resistance?.

There is no set number. It all comes down to who your enemy is. I can get a hero to 150% dmg reduction (before starting battle) and the enemy could get 150% armor penetration for a hero before the battle starts. It all comes down to the enemy (PvP perspective)

@@muhammadsyazwan6437 I'm very new, so don't take my word for gospel, but i think some characters do such large damage that you really want them to hit first. In other cases you want a support hero that will debuff to hit first ( hit with a effect on enemy team that lowers armor for example. then the rest of the team would follow with their turn after that debuff hit. That will effectively amplify the damage of the rest of the team right away. good for boss battles too.
