Hi... It is all good to know the genetic details. But in the absence definte treatment options ...it can also cause huge anxiety and stress in most people. Basic understanding is enough as it is mostly not life threatening and a person can live up to 50-70 yrs fulfilling all aspects of life except cosmetic issues in majority of the people. My family members have NF. But I have asked them not to worry and constantly reassure.
