Please edit this to where people know to never put a wall around an AC unit. Restricting the flow of air to the condenser can damage the system.

@cLyon-xi9os
@cLyon-xi9os 2 жыл бұрын
@@singingwindrider9881 There several out there. Check Chalk paint dealers like DIY or milk paint dealers. I painted and sealed the outside of my concrete planters with paint and sealer but I still have to check them often to prevent drying out of soil. I have three on my porch and it has been trial and error with different plants. I live in a very hot part of the South and concrete heats up very fast here. Also there is a decoupage liquid that is food safe - that might work inside the blocks. I don’t know.
@AnoraJohnson
@AnoraJohnson 2 жыл бұрын
Good tip. Concrete does work with some watering methods though. The dry-soak method of letting soil dry well before soaking thoroughly works well with porous pots. It's important to monitor closely if using the method in outdoor heat...but a lot of plants thrive this way. I have huge geraniums and begonias that bloom year-round this way.

Plan on fixing it in the spring if you live anywhere that it snows because those plow drivers don't care what the snow they're plowing hits. I've seen a few of these with busted boards on country roads. Might be OK if you live in an area where they don't drive fast when plowing.
