Some orbits also need to understand that loona is gonna branch out to the genres they don't like . They praise them for having a diverse discography and then limit them at the same time. Some orbits had so much connection to the era they have liked(mostly predebut because orbits trashed on hi high for being cutesy and butterfly for being EDM noise in the chorus and I can't forgive them for that) and want them to stay like that. Like I have my favorite eras as well but, I'm not gonna limit them to discovering other sounds. Like they could make a title track with the most obscure genre and I wouldn't make a fuss about it. The "loona sound" can express itself in different ways not just the way orbits want it to be. Also BOLLYWOOD IS NOT UNIQUE NOW??? You stanned a Diverse Discography group what do you expect??

@@28rizzons They literally are. 3 dark girl crush concept. If you look at predeut you will see how they used to have a wider variety of concepts. Then after debut Hi high - Butterfly - So what, continued the changing concept theme but these last 3 title songs, are all instrumental focused chorus "tough" concept
@28rizzons
@28rizzons 3 жыл бұрын
@@spiritchi24 the only that are quite similar in concept and instrumental formula are So What with PTT, but still are different song styles - PTT is bollywood/electro and So What is deep house. even tho concept-wise they are alike, one is teen crush/teen rebellion and the other one is basically a war song (lol). Why Not literally doesn't sound like anything LOONA has ever done, it doesn't have the loudness of the past and posterior songs and unlike how I saw some people say, it's not generic, since it's in short, a bunch of different sounds in one, it's kinda unpredictable (edit: it kinda sounds low-budget gotta admit. i like it tho). i'm not good with concepts ig, but as far as I know, Why Not isn't girl crush (?)(much less dark). idk what it is exactly tho.

Their music means so much to me if I'm honest. On 2016, I met them with HeeJin's solo, and that was the moment I started to see the growth of the project. 2017 was one of my happiest years and LOONA songs were there to make me happier. 2018 was one of the worst years of my life, and LOONA songs were there to give me the hug that I needed. On 2019, there were so much unexpected changes in my life, and LOONA was also there when that changes were happening. 2020 was the year that they got their first win, and I remember I cried so hard when that happened (I only cried twice for a 1st win) because that was the moment I realized how the fandom was getting bigger. And this year, after having a fight with myself about who I am, LOONA appeared to remind me to show my true colors and be honest with myself Thank you LOONA for being in the most important moments of my life with your songs, I don't know what would be of me right now if it wasn't for you. I think its because of the dominance of percussions and bass on the song with minimal sound other than harmonized vocals and a synth for melody i think that made it funk pop even tho the concept is more of a bubblegum pop. Bruno mars' uptown funk is a good example of funk pop but you'll kinda see the similarity even tho lcm is not that great of an example for a funk pop song since it tried to have a minimal sound.

Yes i miss the jjxmonotree soundscape that gave us the predebut-XX but i'll still be here waiting for the comeback of miami, bass, classic, europop sound(the whole yves album), and dream pop, like please, i just want my uncover pt. 2 along with that whole yves album that sound so good, and the FAIRYTALE AND SONATINE, LIKE WHY ARE THESE SONGS NOT BIG IN THE FANDOM, i think i only heard loona do this kind of sounds,, AND PLEASE BRING IT BACK. The alternate rnb and the jazz pop tracks were timeless tho, will never go bad. I love the fact that they did a doo-wop song in Be honest, the form was kinda off putting but it was defintely defintely goooooood

I’ve heard the original creative director doesn’t work with Loona anymore and the current management decided to go with a girl crush concept, as they don’t know how to continue the initial idea. Kind of sad. I love Loona but they are not so fresh and creative now with their music as they used to be.

You said it perfectly. I think people are in denial when they say their new stuff hits the same. It's not the girls fault, they've only gotten better, but damn I miss the old vibe
@blush3790
@blush3790 3 жыл бұрын
I kind of agree, but I wouldn’t say it’s a girl crush concept. Their aesthetic constantly gives off “really low budget space opera” vibes, especially in the last 2 comebacks. So I’d say their concept has remained similar. But they’ve never managed to top ++ and XX with their new albums, I feel
