Circa 2004. A special girl, a long time in the making, but never came to fruition. So many songs that bring me back to 'us', even though 'we' never existed. The magic lasted for years. The exchanges, the meet ups, the moments, the poems, the intensity, the yearning, the beauty. My heart discovered some untapped compartments. Something magical in coming across a song that you haven't heard in years which propels you to something quite special like this. I’ll never forget I first heard this song in the movie Pumpkin. I caught it one night at age 7 it was on the cw. I watched it with my mom I’ll never forget it was the first day back to school the next morning. I didn’t understand it much back then I just knew that there was something wrong with pumpkin and she was in love with him. It’s stuck with me for the past 13 years and I’ve always thought about it. I just so happened to decide to come onto KZbin and watch some clips of it…it’s brought back memories of such a simpler time in my life. How I long to feel the way I felt back then. I’ll never forget the night I saw that film.

This song is old and I mean 1960's. It was originally in French as a duet with Francis Hardy and Sylvie Varten. This version is the same song with very different lyrics. The original is better but this version is also great. Hope this helps some of you music heads.
