I always liked the Samedi. I make sure each chronicle features one. I like the ambiguity of this bloodline. Their past is murkier than most clans, which is really saying something. The poor Samedi I used first was always forced to wear a full, sealed, Haz-mat suit when attending meetings with other vampires.

Troglodytia's VTES card, which lists her as a Samedi, more or less bridges the link between the Samedi and Cappadocians. Since the sourcebooks officially list Troglodytia as a Cappadocian, she might very well be the bloodline's Grandsire.

It does, but we've since found that the VTES canon doesn't necessarily line up with the VTM canon.

I never get tired of these! hey you shoud start doing this same thing but for general kindred groups and sects, like the Sabbat, Inconnu, Anarchs and The Inner Circle(Justicars and their Archons). Also if you knew enough about Vamp the Requiem, it would be awesome if you did a guide to the covenants, you have already done Belials Brood, why not keep going :D

Do you remember in one of your vampire videos how do you say you would like to be a player in the game instead of being gm? As fascinating as the idea of true Cappadocians in the modern nights and the larger implications thereof are, I have to agree with the Camarilla hardliners for once, the Samedi need to be wiped out. Say what you will about the Nosferatu, at least they are good at staying hidden. These goddamn zombies not only walk around looking like monsters all the time, when the kine see them and start panicking, you know they're just gonna go out and meet the torches-and-pitchforks crowd with a Fortitude and a big shit-eating grin on their rotten lipless jaws. I'm inclined to believe they really are just a Giovanni creation that they let loose on Camarilla and Sabbat cities so they can undermine the masquerade there and weaken everybody so that the Giovanni can move in silently.
