I can see why they cancelled this, clearly samsimon was aiming at cheers with a new York setting, this show was just starting to find its feet, with a third be season it should have gone better, its a shame he had to go and fuck it up

Definitely first season was decent, second season the quality of jokes were much cheaper and reached for cliched low hanging fruit. Also got the sense that George definitely didn't care as much in the second season about the show.

I love George Carlin as a comedian, as a matter of fact I had all this recorded albums. But I watch this whole entire series and it was painful. I can definitely see why it got canceled. It was lacking the quality of comedy. Sad but true rip George c
