I still remember every feeling that day. 10 years old, all alone in my room watching the Final on a little antenna box TV. When he got the ball at his feet my heart would light up. And boy let me tell you how sensational it was when he banged in that half volley for 3-3... It's always Messi and Ronaldo and players like that that are called THE best because they have the glamour roles, but none of them could do what Gerrard can, yet Gerrard can do what they can. Just an opinion, it's all very debatable at the end of the day. But for me, he is up there with the best ever.

I was living in Ireland for the 2005-2006 season(I'm from Massachusetts in the US) anyway, it was absolutely madness for the final and I was so lucky that at the local pub they were all Liverpool supporters that worked the bar and so it was just magic to be in a packed pub full of Liverpool supporters!!! I believe the F.A. cup hasn’t been relative since the champions league. Everyone is busy trying to finish in the top four, relegating the F.A. cup to (generally speaking) what the league cup was in the eighties. The league cup is worse less than ever before.
