Here's an idea for a story: There once was a small railway on the northern most part Sodor. It was a small light railway only 12 miles in length and connected Harwick with Cregwir and was run by three small engines. One of the engine's was named Cooper. He was a hard-working engine who loved his job. Then one day terrible thing happened. Cooper was at the quarry in Cregwir which was the railways prime source of income when an earthquake hit the island which caused an avalanche that buried and crushed him. The damage to the quarry was severe and was left abandoned. The railway tried to make due but without the quarry opening the line was shut down and the two remaining engines were sold to the Mid-Sodor Railway. The engines in question were named Stewart and Falcon, better known today as Sir Handle and Peter Sam

I got a story so once there was small engine. This engine did not have a name only Known by numbers, but one Faith full day. The rails were damaged in the little Engine Plunged into the ravine shrieking like a lost seoul😊

Theory: Smudger fell of the bridge with his Freight cars/goods train staying in the tracks when the ghost train was charging at him. With the only exception being smudgers Wreckage not being found. And the Ghost train that Duncan Encountered could be smudger because of the whistle. But prob not

I agree with you, but I have another theory. Theory: When Rusty's Ghost Engine charged at Smudger while he have his goods train, The ghost engine might be possibly using his powers to vanish Smudger from existence.
