I stumbled over the Letterman performance of this song and I thought it was great. This is a slightly cleaner video that concentrates solely on the performance of the song. The haunting guitar melody running throughout, the clean harmonies and the crisp vocals stopped me in my tracks. Very good! Now some of you may get caught up in the length of Sean's hair, his girlfriend, whether they are modern-day hippies, the symbolism in other videos of this song.. Who cares! This sounds great!

Bach as compared with their better known dad, Johann Sebastian Bach and they all died something like 250 years ago -- all great musicians and all have their individual flavors, but comparison is inevitable. Watching C. Kemp Muhl play bass - although she’s opted to wrap her thumb around the neck, rather than bracing it behind the neck which would give her fingers more strength and speed, although she’s not alone, I’ve seen seasoned pros make her same choice - it’s clear from her fingering that she knows what she’s doing. I’m impressed, lots of famous pretty people just pick up an instrument one day and half-ass it and everyone tells them they’re great … she seems to have taken the time to actually learn the instrument and put in her hours practicing!
