The cannon..at the opening where it says J.W.R. i did some digging to see what the initials meant..here you go 😁 James Wolfe Ripley was an American soldier who served as a brigadier general in the Union Army during the Civil War. In 1861, he was selected to be the 5th Chief of Ordnance for the U.S. Army Ordnance Department. He was instrumental in the early days of the war in modernizing the artillery's ordnance. Basically he was the "inspector" and he put his initials on the artillery he inspected and modernized for the civil war.

Hi Jon, I do remember the other video's of Rocky Top that you did but they were during the day, it has a whole different feel at night especially with the fog rolling in. It's obvious you don't know much about weapons. How much force do you think it takes to pull a trigger? Hunters accidentally kill their partners and themselves every year. Mostly from being overly confident and making careless mistakes. Some automatic weapons have actually gotten hot enough to fire a round. My brothers Sgt. shot him in the leg when he laid down his weapon and it fired a round. My brother's proudest moment while in basic training. Not all weapons had trigger guards and with a hair trigger it wouldn't take much. You are insinuating about a circumstance you know very little about. Like all these " victims" assuming things that were going on prior to 1865 that aren't based on actual historical documents. Assuming makes an ass out of u & me!!

Sassafras Paul Maybe a very tiny percentage of weapons fire all by themselves. Most guns require a physical intention fired at a target to cause death or mayhem.
