There's a censored scene before Luffy arrives with the food where you can see a lady in her house with a baby. In the manga she had a knife with her too and was just about to end it all with her kid because of hunger. It's just a glimpse at how terribly awful their situation is but also how much of a blessing Luffy's help is to these people.💔

For anyone who was ever curious about the basket Law is wearing on his head: "A komusō (虚無僧 komusō, Hiragana こむそう; also romanized komusou or komuso) was a Japanese mendicant monk of the Fuke school of Zen Buddhism, during the Edo period of 1600-1868. Komusō were characterised by the straw basket (a sedge or reed hood named a tengai) worn on the head, manifesting the absence of specific ego.They are also known for playing solo pieces on the shakuhachi (a type of Japanese bamboo flute). These pieces, called honkyoku ("original pieces") were played during a meditative practice called suizen, for alms, as a method of attaining enlightenment, and as a healing modality. The Japanese government introduced reforms after the Edo period, abolishing the Fuke sect. Records of the musical repertoire survived, and are being revived in the 21st century."

The graves being there is nothing more than propaganda. It’s so Orochi can basically say “see? We killed 5em so don’t mess with us.” By his & Kaido’s men telling the Wano citizens that they died, so having fake graves are the “proof” for those who get too curious and wander to Oden castle. None of this is a spoiler, btw, this is just how politics in some real life countries have worked. Let’s just put it this way without spoiling, Orochi & Kaido both deserve to die a horrible death.
