You know what I just realized? Tama being tortured and Luffy rescuing her reminded me of when Luffy was kidnapped as a kid and tortured, and Ace and Sabo both came to his rescue. Now, HE'S the big brother in this situation and is protecting his "younger sibling."

A lot of your questions of "the way samarais are" will be answered very soon. This arc was a little overwhelming for me because I was in a hurry to get to the action and I completely neglected the lore of the land. I'm telling you this is some of the best One Piece lore in the whole series. This place is a wonderful piece of art. You'll get so many answers of things you want to know and things you didn't know you needed to know very soon. Its a long arc, just be very patient with it because the pick up is slow, but very worth the pay off. There are sooooo many damn answers in this arc.

@QueenBlaze The "One Gorilla, Two Gorilla" technique where Zoro flexes his arms in order to increase the power in his sword strikes has been done in the past. He used that move when he fought Kaku and the second in Thriller Bark (I believe). Though, I understand you don't like seeing vein bulges or the sound effect. While the anime has gotten better art and animation, the pacing could be much better. You get weird moments like Luffy vs. Urushima being artificially padded out, and Luffy is struggling against Bat-man, a scrub.

Yeah Yokozuna, the most irrelevant character of irrelevant characters 😭 Hawkins vs Zoro was very quick 1 page they made an episode out of it The beginning of Wano was the slowest pace ever it took them 24 episodes to adapt 15 chapters It would take less than 10 episode in a good pace
