If anyone is ever interested in visiting these grand beauties, Selma does have something called "The Pilgrimage". It is a weekend, usually in late March, where you can tour certain houses. Sturdivant Hall is always on the tour and they have a lovely gift shop in the old kitchen behind the house. The backyard grounds have seen lots of upgrades since this film. It is definitely worth it!

I've been on the tour in October of the homes of Selma. I watched the edge of a baby's nightgown flip over right in front of me on a bed. Selma is a beautiful town but I hate that it's so run down now. It's actually a very dangerous place to visit

All of the houses in WEST SELMA are haunted! Hell not just the houses the neighborhood is haunted! I stayed there for a while with my gma ..one of the homes we stayed in was right where “the battle of Selma took place” and I swear to y’all I was walking on the phone I was still in high school and I walked halfway down the hill and heard several horses like they were racing ....that’s it ..that’s the story because I hauled ass back up the hill to the house 🤷🏽♂️🤣🤣 oh yeah and before y’all say maybe horses were down there umm NO ,because my homeboys was at least 200 feet away and we went right back to the hill and nothing was there ! But yeah just thought I’d share that this mf is spooky especially at night

Original from Selma, I was curious to know if there were any ghosts stories from my town. Now I will check to see if there are any tours are available for those properties on my next visit.

This 1998 documentary was inspired by a driving tour of haunted houses promoted by the Selma Chamber of Commerce but the houses were not open to the public at that time.

These are not the spirits of people who have died but demonic spirits pretending to be the deceased people. Anoint your house, pray, fast n pray, study the Bible, keep a Bible open n keep religious items in these houses. Plead the blood of Jesus over your family, house.

Yes they have tours alright but I bet you it will cost some money. There is no such thing as ghosts, all of this is nothing but bologna

This documentary was inspired by a brochure for a driving tour. The brochure gave the address of the buildings and described related ghost stories. There was no charge.
