29:48 Pretty sure you were supposed to put the magnet inside the hole in the rotating section above that drawer instead. Also would have been a good idea for Felix to use some teflon between the parts that were scratching. It would have given some extra neat contrast with the color scheme too and made the sliding not stick so often

I’ve watched him solve so many of these puzzles. But every time he makes that noise when he discovers something that works, I find it hysterical. Also, thanks you @ChrisRamsay for all this puzzle stuff. It’s relaxing to watch and try to solve in my head. I’m still going thru massive insomnia from chemo, a severely compromised immune system, and chronic migraines, so these are helpful little bits of ASMR therapy! I can’t work anymore so I’m not able to help out around here with $$ issues. Have to rely on my world famous opera singing wife for our daughter and me. She’s the only classical singer of Inuit descent in Canada, and probably the world. With today being our first National Day for Truth and Reconciliation, I thought I’d mention that tidbit. All the best good sir. -D. 😎 🇨🇦

10:35 The force you are feeling when you move the magnet across the metal is the magnet inducing a current and magnetic field in the metal. This happens anytime a changing magnetic field moves through a metal. That is how some electric motors and how induction stoves work.

I see any money raised from selling the box on eBay is going to The Big Issue. I hope it makes thousands, because the Issue is a really worthwhile charity. For our friends across the pond who might not know, "The Big Issue" is a magazine produced and distributed by and for homeless folks in the UK. Homeless folks sell the mag on the streets which gives them a small income, but more importantly gets them back into the routine of "going to work everyday". It also provides them with something they can put on their CV (or Résumé as those same folks across the pond would say!) I spent 25 years working for my Local Authority, rehousing homeless folks and can personally attest to the value of The Big Issue! Great work Felix! Well done!
