Nice! My 7yr old sons loved this video and the $20k box one. He’s hooked. Any recommendations on puzzles like these types for kids 8-12ish? He’s a smart kid. Not looking to spend $100’s lol. But any recommendations would be awesome. Thanks!

After you came back and said worry about the second step I was like use the piece you have! Use the piece! Use the piece! 😅 Love your videos. I wouldn't have solved a rubiks cube without watching your videos. Made me want to solve puzzles. I cheated but hey. I've done it 😅

I think what he did is he had a prearranged deck that alternated red black red black. He iterates shuffled, but all they did was cut and cutting only rotates the order. He then had them swich the positions of the cards, so now they were outliers to the red black order. After sorting the cards into piles, there would be a single red card among half a deck full of black ones and the same for the singular black card.

Chris, was just watching third eye drops and saw your name and photo get flashed towards the end of his latest drop. Dude, last time I was into you, and forgive me it's been 4 or 5 years and I thought I was subed, but I found you because of mine/your interest in card magic and deck collecting. So COOL that you've evolved. I'm so happy that you're finding the REAL value in and of life. Im the biggest UFO freak, now for like close to 50 years. It's amazing how similar those are, who find themselves attracted to the Fortean realm, and performance excellence in all manner of artistry. The Mental Illness aspect of this video really resonated with me as it's something that I've dealt with my entire life. You're right Chris, the path that just leads to the next thing is path-oh-logical. It's clearly what's driving our world that we all live in to utter insanity, which is sad. As your excellent drop here elucidates, we need above all things to BE THE PATH.

I miss this.. I looked so forward to Wednesdays with puzzle solving. Expensive puzzles, cheap(in price) puzzles it didn’t matter. After I had followed you in early 2020, we moved to Hawaii. So when I got up I could watch with my morning coffee. Your channel became a place of calm and peaceful place after a death of a loved one. I hope you post more in the future. Your EXTREMELY expensive puzzles look fun, but it’s also nice to experience those puzzles without spending the money. There is something cathartic about watching you solve puzzles. There is something mind calming about seeing someone solve puzzles even though I sometimes yell at you through the screen for something you missed. I hope to see more soon.

Why not start from the outside first and work your way in? That seems much simpler. I feel like you're just making it harder than it actually is. What is stopping you from rotating the last two rings until they line up?

That is such a cool puzzle! These are the sorts of builds and ideas I was hoping to find on ReBrickable, a website where you can catalogue your Lego collection and find/share the instructions for custom builds (either free, or at a cost for more elaborate builds). ...Okay, turns out the reason I am not finding puzzle boxes etc is because most of my Lego collection is from the Lego Friends series, which is generally not what custom build people are using (and why it was easier to find it second hand for cheap). Plastic Blockbuster even has an account on there, but most of their builds are tiny cars and not the huge elaborate ones like this. Does anybody do an in-between level of instruction for people who want to be able to create and build something like this? Maybe some instructions on the types and pieces of construction for one of the mechanisms used in this puzzle, maybe with specific instructions/parts for a small plain sample mechanism for those of us who are not quite ready to go off-script with our instructions? The sort of guidance Emmett might have needed to build beyond the double decker couch in the beginning of his Master Builder journey, to reference the movie.
