Support us on Patreon: / megalithomania . A new documentary exploring the mysteries of Santa Catalina Island. The islands have turned up hundreds of controversial discoveries; not only giant skeletons, but a prehistoric stone circle, incredibly ancient carbon dating and evidence of historic red and blond-haired islanders. Thousands of giant skeletons, artifacts, and evidence of occupation going back as far as 9,000 years have been scientifically recorded on the Islands, with human occupation possibly dating as far back as 30,000 years ago. The story is intriguing and controversial, and it stars amateur archaeologist Ralph Glidden and his bizarre museum on Catalina Island, but a few years before that, a German Naturalist got the story going in 1913. Dr. A. W. Furstenan unearthed an 8 foot skeleton with artifacts such as mortar and pestles and arrow heads on Catalina. He was told of a legend while in Mexico of a giant and noble race that lived on the Island that existed long before the white man and had since vanished. The film features Hugh Newman and Jim Vieira, authors of 'Giants On Record', ancient symbolism researcher Jj Ainsworth and Native American islander Mason Sanchez Lassos, member of the Tongva Gabrielino Tribe.

Wow. I'm sure many people would love to hear and learn more about your family's experiences in California. The Tongva-Gabrielino, Chumash, and other native people of California have so many stories and experiences that need to be shared. Everything from native legends/folklore/history to their trials and tribulations of their people after the Europeans arrived. If you wrote a book or did a video/documentary to put this history on record, I'd sure be interested!

I use to bow hunt on this island in the 1970's. Mostly on the North side of the island. There was a lot of Spanish Goats, wild boars, dove and rattle snakes. And a lot of cactus and costal cliffs. In the middle island there was buffalo brought there by a film maker in the early 1900's. And on the South Island it was more grassy with many deer. It was a good place to scuba dive too with some ship wrecks and a place called the wall. It got very hot in the summer but me and some friends always went every year for a adventure and good time. There was some guides that use to drive us around the island and we flew there by sea plane that landed in the middle inlet where the guides would pick us up and take us to some make shift tent like camps with a fire pit for cooking. I have seen some rock drawings too and old camp like sites.

@@Horus845 Noah was definitely human lol. Even in the Bible, is has stories of giants . Multiples times throughout the bjble there are descriptions of very tall strong people. However the most interesting story are the nephilim giants...who were offsprings of wicked angels and human women. So things from a different dimension were interacting with women and it created this whole new species that went against God. Hence why the Noah’s ark / flooding of the earth happened. God wanted to wipe out this specific giant race. This is what I believe but it is interesting to read other people’s theories

There has never been found any Viking sunstones, but something resembling it was found on a british warship that sunk in 1592. So the sunstone in the museum is not from the Viking Age.😊 But it is mentioned in the Sagas, so I have no doubt whatsoever that it was used by the Vikings You should visit Denmark, where the original Vikings came from. I’ve actually been to Catalina… beautiful place. Lots of “tame” island foxes. They have had very little predators which is one reason that they will walk right up to you. Such clear water on the coast as well. Our catamaran driver even stopped for us to watch some humpback whales that were swimming by. Unfortunately I did have time to dig into anything giant-wise, but it was on my mind the whole time.

Historically, Darwin's theory of evolution, by natural selection does not agree that these tall blond hair, blue eyed Indians existed, through his evolution process. Darwin's theory as it is written, allows for the natural selection and disposal of such, being that it does not agree with Darwin's Theory, Therefore; Society has the right to disposal of the Blond haired Indians and allows their non-existance. In my view, Darwin's Theory is "HOG WASH", and should have never been adopted by the science community as fact. Now, as a result these Aztec/Mexican/Spanish indigenous Indians think they have the right to remove and destroy the evidence of these beautiful blond haired tall Indians, That have existed for over 30 thousand years according to carbon dating. These Beautiful Tall blond, blue eyed Indians were here on Catalina Island and the other surrounding Islands, before any other race, period. Basically, this is called discrimination in the highest degree, when one race insists the Tall blond hair, blue eyed race does not exist. Sounds like Hitler, saying that the Jews don't exist under Darwin's theory. Therefore; they can be ruled under law, to be removed forever, because they don't fit in, according to the indigenous Indian's and Darwin's theory. This is the argument! Also, Ralph Glidden was NOT recognized as an Archeologist and therefore his finding's were removed from the Smithsonian and discredited!

I am surprised people would think that giants couldn't exist. The Earth used to be much different, much more full of life, more air more CO2, more atmosphere perhaps, massive creatures we can only try to imagine, from fossils, etc.. Just makes sense to me, that where so many and so much life evolved then, "people" with our two legged form, some would have had to be large, to compete. Others small who could hide. Its' odd to me anyway, that people can not even imagine life before, with "human" appearing life forms.

You're right we had giant armadillos, giant slothes bigger than Grizzly bears, we had giant manatees the size of whales. Giant Cats, Dogs, Giant flightless birds, Mammoths which were larger than Elephants. And most of the creatures only went extinct in the last couple thousand years. Most ancient human lore across a lot of cultures talks about giants, or some big foot type of humanoid creature and evolutionarily speaking theirs a good chance at least one would exist. Especially in resource rich places in north and south america.

Its very similar to the stone circles found in the Golan Heights. Odd, since Old Testament texts claim that Joshua and his men drove Giants out of the Levant and there are references that indicate that some fled by sea and some fled north. Then 2000 years later you have Diodorus the Roman historian documenting encounters with Roman battalions and Giants in what is now Germany, parts of Britannia and Sardinia. Then you have Native American oral traditions and Peruvian legends that BOTH date the arrival of long necked, cone headed giants to the Americas 3,000 years ago. When you see a pattern of information like this you're looking at something that actually happened.

Having grown up in Santa Barbara, I’ve heard all the stories about this. We used to take school trips out to the Channel Islands for various reasons as as a youth. The Santa Barbara natural history museum has about six large skeletons in the basement, the biggest of which is about 12 feet tall. Typically these are identified as Homo Erectus. However The problem with this identification is that they unanimously been found in complex burial mounds surrounded by typical size bodies and the grave culture is extremely complex. We find elaborate seashell mosaics held with beach tar onto Mamoth tusk. We see intricate and complex jewelry necklaces and it’s interesting because we’re told that these are found in around the older Chumash and Tongva cultural centers , which tends to indicate that these would be the ancestors of those people. So if you look at the Tongva language it is strikingly similar to certain Polynesian languages. Polynesians typically have a lot higher body height and it would seem that these giant individuals may have been ancestors of some of the large Pacific Islanders That we find Today

Giants are real. They roamed the earth and terrorized mankind before the flood. And their DNA was passed down through Ham's wife to Canaan, and Canaan was the name given to the land of the giants in the Bible. They are among us today, their latent DNA carried by humans, while some purer breeds still stalk the remote places of the earth, making meals out of lost hikers and kidnapped children. The so-called aliens are just fallen angels appearing to each man in the form that is most acceptable to the human witness. For some, they are aliens like the greys; for others, they are ghosts of dead relatives; for others they are dog-men, sasquatch, or moth-man; for others, angels, religious images, or Mary. Ezekiel's "spacecraft" is a spiritual being, not a machine. But demons and devils will appear in a machine if that's what they think will deceive the human witness to their appearance. #blessings #trustJesus

Tomol, didn’t have extra “o’s”. Santa Catalina had a different group of inhabitants than Santa Cruz. Since the Navy sanitized, San Clemente, San Nicolas, and used San Miguel, a place where Juan Cabrillo might lie buried, as practice bombing runs up in til the late 1970’s, I don’t think we will find much, unless deeply buried on any of those islands, except the ones which were privately held, (Santa Cruz, parts of Santa Rosa, Santa Catalina), except Santa Rosa, the one with the most interesting findings, which had a Nike Cold War base on the SW side of the Island.

Sbcap you have to realize that the chumash had localized dialects depending where they're located, e.g. purisimeño, barbareño, etc. Each band had their own version of the chumash an languages, and it only makes sense that the coastal chumash had been visited by the Polynesian voyagers. The sewn plank canoes they utilized to go to and from the channel islands were some of the most advanced boat designs of the new world. Guess who else had such technology, that's right, the Polynesians. Keep in mind they also went to south America.

They were all over the U.S. and the world. The Smithsonian hid the skeletons. There are still old newspaper articles about the giant skeletons found. The Native Americans fought them off,as they were also said to be cannibals

Yup and the most interesting thing is...the native fellow in this video mentioned the possible belief that these tall white giants mingling with the natives...reminded me of the nephilim giants in the Bible. They also were mingling. Their race went extinct cause of the flood. They say history repeats itself...here on the channel island these giants didn’t make it either for whatever reason.

Midnight, one more night without sleeping Watching till the morning comes creeping Green door, what's that secret you're keeping? There's an old piano And they play it hot behind the green door Don't know what they're doing But they laugh a lot behind the green door Wish they'd let me in so I could find out What's behind the green door Knocked once, tried to tell them I'd been there Door slammed, hospitality's thin there Wonder just what's going on in there Saw an eyeball peeping through a smoky cloud behind the green door When I said "Joe sent me" Someone laughed out loud behind the green door All I want to do is join the happy crowd behind the green door Midnight, one more night without sleeping Watching till the morning comes creeping Green door, what's that secret you're keeping? Green door, what's that secret you're keeping? Green door

I heard from a native elder that the trees in the desert that seemed to be unique from all others due to their structure being an almost winding trunk. He said that from the moment these trees were planted, the people of the area would take the branches and shape them, binding them and eventually making them point in order to help give those traveling directions in the deserts at night. I found this so fascinating and almost poetic.

It's a metaphor. I'm Native too. People confuse teaching story metaphors with actual historical oral tradition all the time. It's about how trees are sacred, we're all related, all life is alive & to be respected, but they didn't literally uproot & magically re-root the tree into undisturbed soil, lol. This one is teaching story about spiritual mindset about living things, cooperation, working together with nature & not just cutting trees down for instance, to make room for colonizer stuff, is part of why. Ships hit the east coast & started deforestation... They went after metals & rock out west first. But the respect & reverence for living things all of which have a spirit is for reasons like that, in oral tradition. To protect nature.

in argentina, besides the patagones in patagonia, there was a native culture called Comechingones, mostly in the province of Cordoba. Its said that they had beards, which was weird. Some say they were light skinned. I lived in a town there for a year, Capilla del Monte, and i met an old guy who was apparently one of the last descendents from the comechingones in the area. He was tall as fuck, light skinned and blue eyes. Theres a bunch of weird stories about them, like the little stone walls they made. Apparently they stacked small stones so perfectly that the spanish wanted them to teach them how to do it, but they wouldnt. They were massacred, and a lot of em commited suicide jumping off a cliff, some with their children, and that place is now considered a cemetery (Ongamira). Idk, just interesting at least.

Ikr? Lol. People like documents & books better as "proof," as if people didn't write those books & documents in the first place. Modern society doesn't comprehend the oral tradition nor can they tell the difference between a teaching story & a record of history, within oral tradition. Lmao people will cite a metaphor as proof there's no fact in story keeper knowledge of an entirely different kind, historical record. 😂 Just the wild suppositions on something as simple as a spiral, which is obvious once you know & seems intuitive in the first place... I had to explain it above & it's surprisingly difficult to explain the obvious when your whole brain is raising an eyebrow & doing an eye roll hardcore. 😂
