The thing I like best are (1) instruments compliment vocals, not overpower them (2) their repertoire of tunes are new to me, not bluegrass tunes I have heard countless times before. Fans are more attracted to outstanding vocals, especially vocal harmony, than instrumentation. Instrumentation is just "icing on the cake".
