There are no words for how wonderful this is!!! Top notch and so intricate in every way. This shows how talented God’s children are!! I’ve loved old musicals and ballroom dance since I was very little and it was frowned upon by so many in the church then. I used to wonder why God made me to love dance so much if it was wrong….. it makes me cry to see my dream here on stage being performed so well and without apology. I wish I could see it live!!!!! Thanks for posting it❤️

Yes. In general, I think, most Christian churches and families which held that belief about dancing, ultimately or originally knew/recognized/admitted that it wasn't any and all dancing, but the improper familiarity and intimacy which dancing, in our times since the wide acceptance of the waltz, became so common. I'm a huge fan of Grace Livingston Hill's novels, and she was of this belief and in some comes across as nearly definitely legalistic, yet in others she - her characters- explains her beliefs more along these lines. That for the average young person in, say, the roaring 20s, to go to a dance or have dancing happen at a smaller home gathering, would nearly always involve over-familiarity between the sexes, very worldly songs and talk etc. , and usually involve staying up way late and in a stuffy room. Then of course often involving sliding into further and further worldly, unchristian choices in other related areas from skimpy, clingy, immodest fashions to drinking cocktails to getting drunk. I'M not of the opinion one needed to write off dancing or a little wine or beer because of these dangers, depending on one's social and family circle, but I can understand why many did err that direction and why erring on that side seems more godly. I believe at times it may be, again, esp. if one's background, family or friends are unsaved or of very worldly habits and you'll just be in constant definite danger of being pulled into that. Personally I really wish that instead of giving up all dancing, they'd kept the more innocent and decent folk dancing alive and well. I think maybe a lot of people didn't have even that in their recent background though, or what they'd had, had been intertwined with paganism, such as celtic paganism for ex. . Just a guess. Obviously, from the Bible, we know dancing isn't wrong. David and Miriam and the maidens danced. Those who "got up to dance" when worshipping the golden calf must have, then, been doing some much worse kind of dancing, or focus of it ( same dance but for the purpose of idol worship). For ex., praying isn't wrong just because some pray to idols & a whole scene of that happening may be described as a negative thing by God ! As God has had to mention quite a bit, man tends to judge the exterior and by doing so, misjudge, whereas He judges the spirit - ours and the spirit of what we're doing and of any law He'd given. And also read carefully and prayerfully Galatians at least once a year, is my advice to us all !

I love Christmas music, carols and stanfards. Looking for the right music to play opening ptesents I.just happened to find this incredible and beautiful musical production of the Christmas holidays It's a magical entertaining and reverent, its perfect. I only have two questions where or who is Prestonwood and why haven't I ever heard of this Christmas spectacular? I took my family to Rockefeller Center for their Christmas show and I wasn't that impreesed.The Prestonwood Orchestra and choirs are very impressive just magnificent. I'm running out of adjectives to describe this Christmas spectacular. I can't wait to play this for my family and tell others about the Prestonwood Christmas show! I'm 76 yrs old and I've seen and heard a lot of music and not easily impressed, but I'm overwhelmingly impressed. P. S. I've never liked the song "12 Days of Christmas", but I could watch and listen to this interpretation over and over!

This is an amazing Christmas production that is great for family viewing. Has a lot of Santa Claus music but also has the real meaning of Christmas. Great performance by youth and Choir, Orchestra and dancers. And the dramatic and musical production of the story of the birth of Christ, the nativity scene and story with amazing productions is great. Thank you!

Dr Graham was the senior pastor at the First Baptist church, now Family Church in West Palm Beach, FL. Every year we had the “Singing Christmas Tree.” Not only were the concerts for non-Christians but also for the Christians. The purpose was tremendous entertainment for everyone but to introduce folks to Jesus. The presentation was divided into 2 acts, the first was the secular side and the 2d was focused on the story of Christ. Dr Graham presents Jesus to everyone and if that means having Santa Claus make an appearance so be it. The end of the evening is ALL about Christ. Jack Graham knows what he is doing, preaching Jesus anyway he needs to.

It was tragic to watch a Baptist church who is trying to reach lost souls for Christ using the means of the world: dancing, sensual music, Santa, and on. Outreach CAN be done with a program that is entirely God-honoring and devoid of sensual and worldly elements! Point people to Jesus, not to how well you can dance or sing. You will impact your community more by having Christ the entire focus of your program. You don’t have to be like the world to reach the world. 🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻

I hear your comments and do not discount them. As a former worship pastor, I can appreciate this type of outreach to their city. There are many ways to reach souls because the lost (and saved) are individuals with their own hurts, injuries, and scars. We never know what it takes to reach them until it happens. God gives us all gifts and talents and they are to be used to bring Him glory and honor Him with them. The dancers have that talent and have worked hard to hone their craft. I believe they should dance before the Lord, just as King David did. His wife criticized him for it and God made her barren. When Jesus walked on this earth, He went to the lost and met them where they were. This program very well could be doing the same thing. It sounds like you have a tremendous heart for our Savior. For that I am grateful.
