The Gift of Frankincense - Matthew

Who gives a young child some incense for a present? A toy truck, maybe. Ninja Turtles, possibly. But incense? Isn’t it amazing that for all these years we have heard this story of the magi bringing gold, frankincense, and myrrh to Jesus, and yet most of us don’t know why they did it? Could there be a more noteworthy reason than that it just smelled nice?

Yes, I use it when blessing one’s home. For me it’s like looking at the opening up of the heavens. One can go back in time by smelling the aroma.

Many blessings, The real reason for the season is Jesus Christ as we remember that He took on flesh became human 100% and God 100% born by the Holy Spirit (The Creator Become The Creation) When eternity entered time in a little town in Bethlehem , crucified at Calvary raised from the dead and is now seated at the Right Hand of God (The Father) in Heaven. Christian’s don’t celebrate the gifts under the tree but The Gift on the tree. Many blessings
