Its crazy the type of life lessons you can find in a "children's anime" 20 yrs later im still reflecting
@Habz104 ай бұрын
It's because it was never intended to be a "children's anime"... Kishimoto never intended for it to be for children, he just wrote it in a way that can be viewed by children so they can learn vital lessons whilst aging... However his true intention was for it to be for Adults too... We've all learnt so much from the teachings of Naruto, lessons that children wouldn't have been capable of learning at an early age.

Thank you Rock Lee. When I was in middle school I started watching Naruto, I was obese and almost 300 pounds leading into my freshman year in high school. My body was unhealthy, my mental health was declining and worst of all, I stopped believing myself. Rock Lee’s story was a huge inspiration to me, and it even lead to me starting a new diet and working out... “You’re right, it is pointless, if you don’t believe in yourself.” -Might guy. Im proud to say I stayed true to my goal and I believed in the process of hard work. Im now at 180 pounds years later and Ive been able to maintain it and to this day I lift. Thank you Rock Lee, he deserved so much better in the show. We know you’re one of the greatest of all time.

It's a gift chosen by us
@SealMeallКүн бұрын
For some it is easy to make that choice every day, for others it is harder. Choices are results of personality and personality is something you are born with. You can push some limits and work against them a little, but fundamentally you are only able to do what is within your personality potential, so perseverance is a legitimate gift, not a choice. Neji could also choose not to use his gifts the same way.

he may be a fictional character. but that doesn't mean he wasn't inspired by someone real. and just because he is fictional, it doesn't mean he cannot inspire others. you can make him a reality by becoming like him. if you are the type that never gives up and works hard to achieve their goals, others will think of you as a great friend.

Quick story, many years ago my nephews somehow convinced me to watch the first season of Naruto (I was never a fan of it) everything was going well until the infamous episode when Rock Lee fights Gaara. I was rooting so hard for my boy Lee but at the end, after trying so hard he still lost. I stopped watching Naruto and never again had the interest to continue watching it.

But I feel like I was always challenged as it takes long for me to grasp a concept. That's why he'll always be my role model. No matter how hard you must train, you gotta pull ur shit together and try ur hardest.

Seeing Lee struggle so hard just made me question why? Why doesn’t he just quit? Why doesn’t he just stop and let himself rest? Then I stopped and thought about it. THAT is what makes a person special in my eyes, that makes me want to root for whoever is struggling but NOT GIVING UP! Shit is BEAUTIFUL! 💯🙏🏼

I've been a Rock Lee my whole life and I'm sure there are many like me who wish they would've had a Might Guy in their corner. When I watched Rock Lee hold his own against Gaara, even against the odds. The moment I saw him standing, even though he was out cold, is when I knew I wanted to be that. Anime has its moments when the meaning behind it cuts deeper than any blade. "Never apologize for trying hard, it's an insult to your determination"- Might Duy.

However disappointed I was by the lack of Rock Lee's character development and him losing vs gaara , my cope is rock lee lost to shukaku, not gaara, if any other genin fought him at that point they'd lose, maybe except naruto cause of nine tails and plot armor. Rock lee for president.
@fredcavalcante18874 ай бұрын
Hahahaha, except it wasn't Shukaku. It was Gaara's abilities. In that arena, he probably would win against all others, maybe not against Shino. But on the next arena he could have be tricked by Naruto, and Neji wouldn't let him open the Gates after seeing what he can do.
@MrTheguywithalife4 ай бұрын
I think gaara DID lose to rock Lee, because don’t forget, even without kurama awakening, Naruto had quicker then average healing from the 9 tailed fox super early in the series. I do think even without Shukaku awakening, gaara did have power that came from him. I think rock Lee would have won if gaara didn’t have shukaku
@ryanreverie52422 ай бұрын
Gaara walked into the exams low kage level, there was literally no genin at the time that could challenge him at all except for Lee. Naruto needed Gaara in a situation where he can’t think properly and control his power and Gamabunta. Lee had everyone watching him wondering how what he’s doing is even remotely possible, it’s not about winning the fight at all tbh, people miss the point
