“Forgiveness is a gift we give to ourselves by releasing our future from the pain of our past”! An unrepented person will reinjure you”!! “Forgiveness does not necessarily mean access in the absence of repentance”!!! Such powerful words!! I hope you make a short clip from that section of the interview.

I waited to watch this episode of KIPS because I wanted to give it my undivided attention. I was right! This was guuuudt! So many gems from Nona! Just to name a few: We end up comparing our reality to other’s fiction.” When someone is succeeding I see it as a receipt for me.” If God can trust you there’s no limit where he can’t take you.” Nona was amazing. Crystal thank you for sharing your transparency.

I randomly chose this episode, didn’t know who Nora was, so I listened to the intro. Immediately I started hearing “nope, this ain’t for you” “see, she talkin bout her mother, you have a few issues wit mom but none like that, you don’t need to hear this.” Then… my other self began to say, hmm 🤔 that Does sound a bit similar to your dad tho.” And what did it was the “just because you forgive them, doesn’t mean they should have access to you.” I said OOOP 😮, oh, the Holy Spirit knew what would keep me tuned in. And it, as always, was worth every second. THANK YOU 🙏🏾

Crystal, keep doing what you are doing. I absolutely love this. There is so much negativity going on in the world today. This is much needed. Your camera lady needs a spot on your couch! (I am sorry I didn’t catch her name) I believe that she needs to be heard and that she has some good sound spiritual advice that needs to be shared with others. Continue to let God shine in your life on and off the stage. You are doing it!

My sister Crystal, the character that you play is not you but there's someone out there like your character, dealing with those challenges and may not recognize this as an issue. Then we see the real you, the real person who shares and cares, and loves and you speak to those of us who tap into this side as well. I feel, just me saying this, these versions of sisters are real and you're reaching both of them. Love you in Jesus!!!

Great episode! Nona , I loved you on the YouVersion Bible App when I was at my lowest 2 years ago because I felt the need to get closer to God! "Forgiveness doesn't mean access." Thanks for saying this I grew up with a Narcissistic father who happens to be a pastor he was verbally, physically, mentally/emotionally, and spiritually abusive! My mother never protected my sisters and I. She's still married to him. This past mother's day I'm grieving cutting off my mom's access.I've forgiven her, and I've accepted she'll never take accountability😢 God bless Y'all 🙌🏾

The Holy Spirit led me back to this podcast for some reason to check out a name or person I know nothing about "Nona Jones" which I did immediately think of Nora Jones. Nevertheless, this was inspiring and really a great episode. I look forward to tuning back into this podcast as the Holy Spirit leads you to decide if it is going to be faith-based or click-based. The one episode I tuned into a while ago when you were starting out really turned me completely away from it because of the nasty conversation that was taking place with your friends. Not judging but growing and setting boundaries and making decisions for my eargate in my old age. I also agree that we are given a platform to be the light in this dark world and it will be successful as it is pleasing to God and your true intention. That means for some people in our circle, we must tell them that "Moses is dead" because we can't serve two masters, and if we truly know we are Christians we must be convicted of what is right and what is wrong and what audience are we truly trying to reach for the Kingdom and is listening really looking for a lifeline to Christ by the way of therapy or a therapeutic podcast.
