In response to Mel’s question about performers on their cycle, they usually just suck it up, sometimes if you’re comfortable you can change what you use for performance days (like instead of pads maybe using a tampon). Some people do it more dangerous and will alter when their cycle is supposed to come. But tbh half the time there is an understudy available if you swear you can’t go on stage. Just depends on the circumstance!

23:48 Was at Five Guys last month, made my order and cashier handed me my receipt. There was a 25% tip added in and I never got the option to decline a tip. I’ll add $1 to a tip jar at the register but that 25% tip was over $10 extra. If this is what fast food places are doing, I’m eating at home!

The thing with the companies and the "round up for x" is they've already donated the money, gotten the tax write off, and are using your "round up" to recoup their dollars. The even shittier part is that if they take in more than they donated, they just keep it. All of that "donating at the register" would be best served just giving it directly to the charity in in question.

I respond I give privately? Or Only to 1619 organizations (then they ask what is that and I have a opportunity to share books and explain a bit about our culture/history. * Whle traveling in Africa 🌍 it is offensive to tip worker for doing their job.
