Hi Jovino, the way you are doing your videos is just great because they are very clear, so one can listen and see everything very well (slomo). Also the music you choose is really nice. For me as a beginner these videos are very helpful and I appreciate them a lot. Thank you so much! If you would ever travel through North Germany, let me know. Always welcome, Hansi.

I like this in any key. F is fine for me on piano. If accompanying a singer, use their choice(s) of keys. :)

Pretty playing, but hard to follow. Would be nice to hear you say what type of chord voicings that you are using. It's going a bit too fast for me.

You can slowdown the playback by clicking/tap on the 3 dots in the upper right hand corner of the video and click/tap on playback speed. It helps me.

The secret is to play the KZbin video at 75% or 50% speed by clicking the setting wheel in lower right of video. I wanna cover this in a guitar/piano version, but am not good at playing guitar or piano. He is playing fast but the secret for me, since I'm entering my music into DAW software, is to play the KZbin video at 75% speed or even 50% speed. In that way, it doesn't matter if the teacher is too fast .I think it's a great tutorial, and even though this song wasn't on my list of songs to do this year, this video inspired me to make my own composition make it ease for me since I always loved that song

I love this, authentic, very informative and helpful, thank you, lovely voicings, my own were all root-position and comparatively dull. It also has rhythmn without the need for a bass/drums rhythmn section, it's great!

To find a slower tempo that works for you, feel the melody and choose a tempo and a tempo range that feels right for you.

How many years of study does this take?
@PianoGroove6 жыл бұрын
Hey! If you just want to play this one song, then it could be anywhere from weeks to months, depending on your current level and ability. Remember that learning improvised music such as Jazz, Blues, & Brazilian Styes is a lifelong pursuit. There is always more to learn, and so in that sense, you never stop studying. Hope this helps! Not for beginners. You say 'and now the melody', but could not resist not to include left arm and arpeggios. Otherwise you play fantastic.
