As a general military he must be cautious for protecting his army. In earlier he was harsh to her because he regards her as a pion ( her blood can heal him ) but later on they become get used to share and accompany eachother . when xiao yao tell her past story and childhood trauma experience to xiang liu he get touched by xiao yao childhood trauma because he has a hard way too in his past. Imperceptiply he fall in love with her so deeply . He knows he can't full fill xiao yao's will so he always pretend like he is nice to her , save her because he wants something from her as an exchange but deep inside it's actually just his excuses. He doesnt want xiao yao feel burdened on how much he has done for her . He make all xiao yao's dream come true ( 1. teach her archery so she will be able to protect herself and dont have to protect people she loved with her body. 2. A guy can accompany her forever so he saved thu sanjing's life eventhough xiao yao misunderstood his purpose and regards him a cruel person. 3. A safe place to go so he prepare her a map with islands on the sea so she can go and find one as a home. ) every reader have their preference but me when i read the last page of the book i cried my eyes out for xiang liu.

Why foolish Jing? If you like one character, there's no need to slander the others. Jing also has a responsibility as the clan leader, he can't just leave straight away - him leaving will be detrimental to his whole clan's life. He doesn't want to anger his grandmother, at her old age, if she rages she can die of heart failure. He never agreed to get married to the other girl. So tell me why is he foolish?

Xiang Liu loves Xiao Yao yes - but he's more royal to his military boss than he loves her. I love the actor who plays XL, I have been a fan of him since when he was Court Lady. But XL is not the man Xiao Yao wants. She wants a guy who will choose her as #1. XL chose his General boss as his #1.

Si no hubiera sido obligado a un destino de asesino, habría sido un sabio amoroso. Porque la Naturaleza conmueve profundamente a Xiang Liu. Siempre está reflexionando sobre ella pues...es un animal salvaje, ¡cómo no! Pero esa entidad animal y grandiosa que es Xiang Liu tiene más humanidad que los otros que rodean a Xiaoyao. Xiang Liu fue entrenado por humanos para ser un arma asesina, ¿tiene la culpa, realmente? Él sabe que por su anatomía distinta solo podría darle compañía y amor eternos a Xiaoyao (Xiang Liu nació de un huevo, jamas podría reproducirse con Xiaoyao). Es el personaje más hermoso y mejor actuado y por eso a todos nos encanta. De todos modos, Cang Xian está muy bien retratado e interpretado: así pensaria un noble ambicioso, frustrado y psicopático por no poder realizarse afectivamente. En cuanto a Jin, creo que el actor que lo encarna no supo darle la cuota de virilidad complementaria a su bondad. Por eso no engancha demasiado.

I think Xiangliu and Xiaoyao have a platonic love. Tushan Jing will always be Xiaoyao’s true love. Cang Xuan’s love is unrequited. Fenglong’s love is shallow but real. But one thing I noticed, these 4 men hasn’t fallen in love until they all met Xiaoyao.

The most attractive and interesting character in the drama. What a shame that they decided to scarified him to let the princess stay with a Fox-guy. Fox is boring and a coward at the same time and he'd been one all his life. There is no chemistry between them at all. Snake-guy is a mystery, where did he came from, parents, family? How did he raise his power? Not every creature is able to do that. Drama would be much interesting if he stayed in but the directors decided to kill him to let the Fox be a hero. He can't be a hero, his character is written like that, weak man. I stop watching on a 27 episode, going to wait for a 2nd season. They should make the Fox stronger or resurrect the Snake to make it more interesting. Voting for Snake!!
