I remember watching this the first time, realizing Annie didn't say it and then hearing the officer say "she didn't say it," while pointing at her accusingly, and then the school councilor zeroing in on her refusal to say it, that was probably one of the most satisfying moments for me, where I felt perfectly in sync with a TV show.
