I can’t wait to see Denzel in Gladiator II this weekend. It’s difficult to say who the best actor of our time is. Denzel is tied for best. So far, my favorite role of his was in Training Day. Stellar performance. 🎭

I've already seen the new Gladiator film. Denzel's acting is definitely the highlight of the movie. It has some cool combat scenes that are fun to watch if you are willing to suspend belief and just go with it... The storyline of the movie is not that great... It doesn't compare to the original at all...

There's something about Seth Doane's voice that has been bothering me ever since I started tuning into this podcast a couple of weeks ago. Every time he reads from a script, he sounds strained. As soon as he goes _off_ script, such as when he's interviewing another person, his voice relaxes and instantly becomes more listenable. I don't know what it is about scripted writing that affects his voice, but I wish his narrator voice had the same level of ease and naturalness of his interviewer voice.
