You should take cuttings of your oxblood coleus to make more! They root so so easy! The more your cut the thicker and more branched your coleus will get. I cut and root them all season long to fill in around the yard. Makes beautiful colors for fall! Love the videos and glad your "human" feeling again! Happy Gardening friend!

Your yard is absolutely stunning and I love how you explain how you go about beautifying it. Also, you can easily propagate any coleus that you want to add to any other areas of your garden by simply just taking a few clippings and burying directly in the dirt. Thanks for sharing :)

I confess that I enjoyed watching you squeeze in and around probably because that's most of my gardening. I have a relatively small yard with a lot of plants and stuff. Everything I do is "obstacle course" level like your coleus planting. Try to squeeze in areas and not step on too many things. You are much younger than I am, but knee pads are really helpful. My tortoise walks really fast too. I can't leave him out or he'd be gone!

P.S. I hate squirrels but Hubert cracks me up!

Those are gorgeous Coleus. So easy to grow lots of new Coleus plants from rooted cuttings, to enjoy indoors. You could let the cuttings Mature over winter indoors, then add to your landscape in spring. I'd pinched one back for several months, making many more stems, to form a glorious, dense, sphere. Put it outside to get some sun & rain. Guess I forgot it was still outside, when a heavy rain came through & smashed it. You know how brittle those stems are. What a mess. At least it was easy to start new plants from all tbose cuttings.🙄

Adding gravel is an excellent idea as it would hardly need any water. Grass is very water intensive.

You probably caught the flu or whatever from coming into contact with that virus or bacteria from othrr people who had it. We don't really get run down & get sick as much from the weather as from impropr diet, like eating too many carbs & sweets, including alcobol, so vitamins help. Hooe you feel better soon.

Why not just take cuttings form the coleus? They root super easy in water. Once I get a variety that i like i just keep making clones of it.
@TheSingingGardener5 жыл бұрын
I will start doing that! I can't stand looking at those empty spaces so I needed to do a quick fix. Maybe next season I will change them out :)
