I'm so jealous!!! They need to bring this state side.

It's coming state side! Although it's going to be in Colorado in early October so not sure if that would work for you! Possibly a bit far 🤣

This is SO cool and so glad you shared with us. I've gotta try to find some of this in the US! Thanks so much for sharing! ❤️ Well found it. It'll be 1st week in Oct in Colorado. Not sure I'll make it there but what an awesome event!

Pleasure, so glad it was helpful. That's the problem with the states, it's so massive! I've no idea how far you are from Colorado but yep it sounds like it's going to be a great event. Although I know a few of the UK and European suppliers aren't able to make it anymore as they won't let them in due to covid which is a shame. Thanks, Vicki

Oh that’s not good. Hopefully They could start making them soon again. I’m 19 Hours Dr. from Colorado and although I don’t mind driving I just drove a 17 Hour drive down to Texas and back so I’m a bit exhausted. Lol. I would absolutely love to go but such short notice I don’t think I can takeoff work. I’m going to plan to go next year though!!

@@arewethereyet-lifeoffgrid wow! And we were moaning about having to drive 2 and a half hours! 🤣 We aren't used to long distances in the UK! Hopefully you will get there next year ☺️

@@TractorsandCream haaa I know. I lived in Germany for 3 yrs. y’all don’t like driving very far. Lol. I drove all over the place while over there. From Germany to France, Italy, Netherlands. Then clew to Ireland and Scotland and drove all over there. Haaa. Absolutely gorgeous. My dream is to live out the rest of my time in Ireland/Scotland and other areas over there.

@@arewethereyet-lifeoffgrid wow that sounds like an amazing trip! I guess in England once you've driven about 6 hours you've reached the other side 🤣 we should definitely explore more, I've never been to Ireland or Scotland!

Great to meet you both and what fab coverage of the show! Really amazing! We’ll have to chat domes at some point, no rush though, the earliest will be for 2023 - Nadine & Simon, La Prairie Étoilée 🌾⭐️

Thanks! Yes always happy to talk domes, is that what you are thinking of going with next then? They are brilliant for the price. Definitely keep in touch, maybe one day we will make it to come and stay with you guys! Take care, Vicki x

Now I know what those buildings I can see in the yard about 500m away when I'm out the front of the house..........it's The Coal Bunker. They looked familiar on your videos and when I heard the accent of the salesman, I thought hang on a minute and googled them. I knew they did log burners and hot tubs and now know what the buildings are. Be paying them a visit over the next few days.

So many really cool products. I really love the clear down from direct down. Although it's kind of small but I would like to get one of those start off with and seems like it would last quite a while. Being that they only have one size it seems kind of small but it looks like it would fit maybe a double bed and a small couch or chair what do you think?
@TractorsandCream3 жыл бұрын
Yes they were really cool and really robust. I think they would be a tiny bit small for a bed. They are only 3.6 metre diameter and £2500 whereas the Trudomes one was the same price and 4.4metres diameter. The domes direct ones have more headroom though. My advice would be to draw a 3.6 metre circle on the ground and see what you can fit in it!
@arewethereyet-lifeoffgrid3 жыл бұрын
Awesome and thanks SO much for replying! So the true domes had more headroom? I’ll check that out again. It’s much bigger at 4.4m. I love the clear dome but people may want privacy and it may be hard w the direct domes. Love you guys!! ❤️❤️
@TractorsandCream3 жыл бұрын
@@arewethereyet-lifeoffgrid pleasure! I think the Trudomes ones had less headroom as they would be 2.2 metres high roughly and I think direct domes felt slightly higher but Trudomes have more useable space.

👏👏👏🙏👏👏👏 Thanks so much for this creative clip. I have LAND/property in Ider, Alabama in the southern part of the United States 🇺🇸 I want to use the land for creating some GLAMPing spots . I would luv to have a pool for the guest & have it enclosed in a green house type of structure. Using it for multi-purposes: 1- Fun for the kids & family . 2- Community Aqua Classes for a fee for the participants. 3- A active green house for the community & for the guest to use for fresh veggies . In the winter when temps are projected to reach the freezing point have 2-4 small wood heaters/burners My questions are as follows: 1- Do you know what the success rate is with shipping containers that have been converted to swimming pools?. 2- Success regarding large, rectangular, above ground pools? Thanks 🙏 again for all of the hard work 😓 that you guys put into educating us & helping us evaluate what works best for our sites & most of all elevating our GLAMPing businesses journeys. Hi there, I'm so sorry I missed your comment here! What you are doing sounds amazing! Here in the UK having a swimming pool is an absolutely fantastic way of bringing in extra guests and if you can afford to put one in then it will definitely increase your occupancy levels! I'm afraid I've no idea about shipping containers into pools but it sounds like an ace idea! And if you can make extra income from renting it for classes then all the better! Let us know how you get on. Vicki

not sure if you have been asked this before, but do you guys leave your yurts/domes up all year round, or do you take them down for the winter?
@TractorsandCream3 жыл бұрын
I'm so sorry i've just found this message. We take our yurts down as they don't weather well but we can leave the domes up - hence why we are investing in more domes! Thanks, Vicki
