I notice they have jacuzzi. Would you consider doing pros and cons of having them? They seem that they could be an attraction but also a lot of upkeep and work. Not sure of it's worth??????

I honestly think it's personal preference. Hot tubs and jacuzzis definitely bring in extra bookings especially if you are open all year round, they attract guests in the quieter months. But it doesn't really go with our sustainability ethics as it's a lot of wasted water and lots of chemicals. You have to change the water between each guest and check the levels each day so very time consuming. We've opted for outdoor baths which are so much easier on cleaning and maintenance. Although I did hear a stat that 80% of people booking on search engines tick the hot tub/ jacuzzi box!

@@TractorsandCream thank you for your reply. I live in a desert community and our country has water supply issues ( although you wouldn't know it the way water is wasted here). I hate wasting water and that alone would be a con for me. Good points

@@xx-xt4rg Wow ok so yes the less water wasted the better! We used solar power to enable us to have a jacuzzi bath which ticks the "jacuzzi" box when people are searching but doesn't have the environmental impact. We made a video about it here if it helps kzbin.info/www/bejne/mpzadKluZdmDes0 Have you got a glamping site up and running or are you still looking into it? Thanks, Vicki

@@TractorsandCream I am an American married to a Bedoin and we live in Petra Jordan region with lots of tourists. We are finishing 3 brick and mortar rooms, but the next phase we will probably do Geodomes. I'm trying to educate myself about them. So people come here for different reasons than why people go to you. The most people would stay is maybe 2 days. But unlike you or people in Ametica I dont have the resources to go to the lumber store and we have to import many things which is costly....I'll check out that video, thanks

@@xx-xt4rg oh wow that sounds amazing! But also really tricky if you can't get the materials easily. It's worth chatting to our dome manufacturer Trudomes, as they have lots of solutions in their domes now for different climates and are really supportive if you are starting out. Also we are always happy to help in any way we can. Please keep in touch and let us know how you get on! Vicki
