Animus Vox is what got me into The Glitch Mob. It’s the first song I ever heard from them, and there’s been nothing else quite like it, or like them, since. A second favorite is The Clouds Breathe for You. It’s so somber and peaceful, with a hopeful undertone.

The Glitch Mob and its community feels like a family, a healthy one at that. all of this and more, thanks to the fateful day i hit shuffle on a station. I first came across this song several years ago. I went on a hiking trip in California and listened to Drink the Sea on repeat the entire time. Now every time I hear it I think of redwoods and exploration, an amalgamation of technology and nature. It'll always be one of my favorite albums.

Peter sent me here. I originally watched the video cuz I used to live in Trinidad in the first house rt next to the state beach parking lot and Trinidad Head. Also had a house down the road in Westhaven on 6th st. So seeing your vids and Peter’s brings back so many great memories. My dream is to go back up from this wasteland in So Cal. Where has my life gone? I remember always listening to this album as a kid (Maybe around 6 or 7 years old) So much nostalgia listening to this song specifically. The album name is a reference to a quote by Nietzsche and the name of the song itself literally means "Voice of the soul". And if you wanna go deeper, Animus is a contrasexual identity in Jungian psychology.

Oh the things I would do for a Beyond Monday remaster... This one brings back such good memories, though. My first ever DJ set mixed this with madeon's Icarus, I believe, and it made me feel incredible to have such excellent music to work with.
