Krzysiek Skiper I think he meant that he was expecting it from the whole album but he received it only from this song. Just my interpretation.
@luchadorito10 жыл бұрын
seebase100 Krzysiek Skiper most of the songs on LDI sound a lot more ,,computerish" than lets say We can make the world stop or Animus Vox (and most of the older stuff from the Mob).I always loved Glitch Mob, GRIZ, C2C and some other electronic music producers because they can make natural, human sounding electro music.Just take a look at we ca make the world stop!Try to listen to the tracks(,,voices") separately!You can clearly hear the voice and tone of real drums, trumphets, human claps, piano, a giutar-ish something, etc while none of these where used making that song.When i heard the demo to LDI(Can't kill us), i was happy because it had everything i expected:catchy riffs, instrument-like tracks and that sweet-sweet natural yet modern sounding electric vibe i love in Mob...i was kinda dissapointed after that to hear songs like Skullclub, songs that have less of that sensible, energetic yet harmonic and peaceful naturality and more of a club hit buzz and (imo)primitivity.So LDI was kind of a dissapointment but this song has some of that feeling i want when i put on my headphones, find the most comfortable place in my house and say ,,lets listen to some Glitch Mob"!Also Krzysiek Skiper that epic double kickflip fancy facepalm stuff sounds cool as fuck...i'll try it someday!But not now!I think i legitly defended my statement!
@TombHill10 жыл бұрын
luchadorito if you read the glitch mobs statements about the album they explain why the change in sound. I don't remember the exact article I read. But essentially they said that this type of sound translates better during live shows as opposed to the old sound. It's been quite some time since their last full album, every artist grows and changes with that time so I embrace the decision to move in a new direction. I'll always have drink the sea to listen to if I crave the old sound and I have this to listen to if I want the new sound.

cymatics is the best visual approximation of a quantum world, something we can't even really comprehend. When I first took partial differential equations, I didn't get it AT ALL! But shortly after I got my final test back, with the realization that if its not 0 or 1, you are doing it wrong, I also saw how PDEs, or generalized differential equations, are so incredibly powerful. PDEs added time, (and any dimension you want really) to math, and it allowed me to know the universe sings. I see the song of the world now and it is beautiful.

I absolutely LOVE this video, such a creative approach! I'm a photographer, and some of my favorites for photography and cinematography are abstracts. It's an underrated art! This was a great way to time the visuals to the sound too. Awesome to see people not relying so heavily on the standard CG.
